Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

jup up 32% on the month and the call is still HOLD with ADX at 14.8. no trend, no trade, fair enough
this. i tried front running the 0.37 resistance twice, chopped both times. low conviction means exactly that
32 percent in october is mostly market beta tho, jup did not even outperform sol itself that month
checked the october numbers, sol did roughly 26 while jup did 32. barely alpha but calling it pure beta is a stretch too
6 points over sol during a solana month is decent for a governance token tbh. the ADX at 14.8 is why the call is hold, trend tools are flatlined
ran the same numbers, sol did roughly 26 to jups 32. six points of outperformance on a governance token carrying an unlock calendar, ill take it
six points over sol during a solana rally is the part that matters. governance token outperforming its own chain is rare air
jup at 0.29 with the 52w high at 0.44 feels like a discount if solana dex volume comes back. holding my staked bag
hold is cope imo, every airdrop season dilutes this thing more. check the unlock calendar before you average down
the unlock point is fair but jup buybacks with actual revenue, thats more than most governance tokens do
buybacks offset some of the dilution but the airdrop calendar is relentless. 0.29 is a fair price for a maybe
the unlock calendar is public info now, everyone front runs it. dilution gets priced harder than the cope argument admits
the calendar is public and still front run every time tho. buybacks funded by actual fee revenue are the only thing keeping 0.29 from being a pure dilution machine
buybacks funded by fees is why jup chops instead of dumps. the unlock calendar caps the upside and the buyback caps the downside, rangebound honesty
ADX at 14.8 means the trend tools are asleep. HOLD is the only honest call until 0.37 breaks on real volume
0.29 against a 52 week high of 0.44 with real buyback flow is a reasonable maybe. the 0.37 break on volume is when it stops being one
buybacks funded by real fee revenue is the part people keep skipping. most governance tokens print nothing, jup at least buys its own bag
the buyback math only works while solana dex volume holds up tho. one slow quarter and 0.29 stops defending itself
dex volume has held through two slow months already tho. jup buybacks are small enough that they dont need a boom, just not a bust
not a boom is doing heavy lifting there. ADX at 14.8 says even the chop trade is dead, its 0.37 on volume or nothing
adx under 15 is the market saying nothing. the 0.37 line decides it, everything else is commentary with a chart
0.37 as tiebreaker is right but check what volume even means when buybacks are a scheduled bid. trend tools on a chart with a standing buyer read weird
3 bull vs 5 bear and all three bulls are slow movers (200d, golden cross). fast money says wait, respect the 0.37 line call
the 200d and golden cross are trailing indicators, they confirm moves they dont start them. five bear factors with the fast money bearish, hold is generous
the 3 vs 5 split is why the ADX 14.8 read matters more than either side. no trend strength means the bear count has nothing to push with either. 0.37 is the tiebreaker, everything else is noise
the bear count having nothing to push with is the cleanest read in the thread. range rules until ADX wakes up, hold is just honesty
fee funded buybacks are the only reason this chart is argueable at all. kill the buyback and 0.29 is just another unlock schedule with a logo on it
kill the buyback and 0.29 is an unlock schedule with a logo is brutal but accurate. the entire bull case is fee revenue choosing to defend the token
ADX flatlined at 14.8 with a 3 vs 5 factor split means the system has no edge either direction. hold is just the machine admitting it
