backtest did +6.6% while buy and hold did +108.8% on OKB and the verdict is still HOLD lol. the system lagged the asset by a hundred points
trend following lagging buy and hold by 100 points is just what it does in a V shaped recovery. +45% over 6 months is also why the call is HOLD and not SELL
39% win rate across 31 trades and it still finished green. that single +18% runner from July to October carried the whole log
39% win rate is fine when winners run. that single +18% okb position from july paid for like nine scratch trades, that is the whole trend following deal
6.6 vs 108.8 on a V recovery is just what trend systems do. the interesting number is the 1.83x volume on an up day, that is the tell worth watching at 105.88
every trend system lags in a V. the real test is the next chop, thats when the 39 percent win rate actually earns its keep
stop at 102 when support is marked at 105.88? placing the stop below the level you are defending seems backwards to me
agreed, a 102 stop sits under the 105.88 level you are defending. either honor the support or admit the system is trading momentum
the 102 stop under a 105.88 shelf everyone keeps litigating, its an ATR stop not a level stop. 4 percent daily vol means anything tighter than 102 is pure noise feeding
a stop under 105.88 means you eat the wick and keep the level. right above it and the retest chops you out, there is no clean answer here
110 holding above the 105.88 shelf all month is the only chart that matters. verdict labels are noise, levels arent
buy the holder system, fine. but okb has single exchange dependency written all over it, the token is one policy change away from whatever the chart says
