Trend-Following Backtest
2-year simulation on a notional USD 35,000 starting balance using the model’s 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter. The model goes long when price is above a rising 50d MA with RSI 40-75, and goes flat on a death cross or RSI above 82. Hypothetical, before fees and slippage.

DCA vs Lump Sum (OKB)
Hypothetical result of a notional USD 35,000 placed one year ago under different timing schedules. Simulation only, not a recommendation.

Levels the system watches
Reference levels used by the trend model to classify OKB. They describe how the model reads the chart, not what anyone should do.
| Support (recent swing low) | USD 103.57 |
| Resistance (recent swing high) | USD 127.79 |
| Trend model’s invalidation level (ATR-based) | USD 96.56 (-8.3% from current price) |
| ATR (14) | USD 4.37 (4.15%/day) |
| Price location vs trend (model label) | Pullback |
The invalidation level is where the model would stop treating the current trend reading as valid (roughly 2x ATR below price or 0.5x ATR below the recent swing low, whichever is lower). It is a model parameter, not a stop-loss recommendation.

Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate · Backtests are hypothetical and exclude fees.
Neutral call feels right for OKB. Golden cross and holding the 200d say the macro trend is intact, but 7 of 9 factors red with RSI at 38 is not a dip I am buying blind.
Same read. The 50d rolling over while price sits under it is the classic wait-and-see setup. OKB needs a reclaim of the 50d before the bullish factors mean much.
That OBV distribution signal is the one that worries me. Price above the 200d means nothing if volume keeps leaking, and the 0.84 vol ratio says buyers are not showing up.
Exactly, weak volume into a falling 50d is how you get chopped. I would watch whether RSI 38 baselines or keeps bleeding before trusting the golden cross at all.
rsi 38 after a 59 percent drawdown from 257 kinda smells like late stage bottoming to me. but fair point, would rather see 103.57 hold first too
Agreed on the OBV leak. But price above the 200d with the golden cross still valid gives the model cover for the Neutral label, even with 7 of 9 factors red.
atr of 4.37 a day on okb means the invalidation at 96.56 is basically two red candles away. neutral is doing a lot of heavy lifting here lol
