Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

adx 10.4 means theres barely any trend to follow my guy. a stage 3 topping call with trend strength that weak is bold. no long under the 200d at 51.34 tho i agree
^ this. and the system itself only won 40% of 53 trades. medium conviction indeed lmao
Stop at 41.79 is -4.6% and Target 1 is 46.00 at +5%. Risking almost as much as the first target pays on a coin they call Stage 3 topping. Hard pass.
its a SELL call tho, the plan is for if you insist on buying anyway. DCA with 6 buys only lost 32.6% vs 46.4% lump sum, timing matters even here
the dca math is quietly the best part of the piece. -32.6 vs -46.4 is a 14 point gap on a coin people call untradeable
a 14 point dca gap is just loss throttling. on a chart this dead its the only edge available, nobody averages into ltc expecting alpha
the gap is real but six buys across two years on one altcoin is loss management dressed up as strategy. with ADX at 10 nobody has an edge here, holders or traders
A backtest that turns 15,000 into 8,623 while buy and hold does -65.7% still gets labeled a failure. The bar for LTC is just survival at this point.
kinda funny that a 40% win rate across 53 trades still ended at -42.5% while buy and hold did -65.7%. losing less is the whole trend following pitch i guess
ADX 10.4 with a death cross. thats chop city, the 50d at 44.93 is barely above price. no trend to follow here, just noise
And that is why the log shows 53 trades in two years. LTC chops trend followers apart in ranges like this. Holding mine from 120, too late to sell at 43.
fifty three trades to lose 42 percent still beats my one buy at 118 thats down twice that. discipline over conviction i guess
43.79 with a 52 week high of 146 and the bull case is a 5 percent move to target one. even the optimism here is budget priced lol
budget priced optimism is the perfect phrase for it. risking 4.6 to make 5 on a stage 3 topping chart is a trade you take once and learn from forever
rr_miser risking 4.6 to make 5 on a stage 3 topping chart is the whole problem in one ratio. casino comps pay better
43.79 against a 200d at 51.34 means the bounce needs 17 percent just to reach trend. every rally into that line is exit liquidity for the 120 bags until proven otherwise
and the 50d at 44.93 sits less than 3 percent above price. every bounce dies between the 50d and the 200d, this chart is a ouija board
ouija board implies someone is steering. ADX 10.4 means the indicators are reading static, even the SELL badge is just sideways with a costume on
50d at 44.93 and 200d at 51.34, every bounce dies in that corridor. the ouija board only ever spells SELL
corridor_scribe checked the calendar on that corridor, the 50d has been rolling over since may. bands slope down before they break, ltc is right on script
53 trades, a 40 percent win rate, and the payoff is losing less than buy and hold. they built a system for losing slower and shipped it with a SELL label, respect the honesty lmao
losing slower is underrated when the alternative is a 70 percent drawdown from the 146 high. the system is a glorified stop loss and honestly thats fine
Rolf E. losing slower is the pitch until you count the 53 spreads paid to learn the lesson. system at -42 vs hold at -65, both end in pain
53 spreads to learn what one stop at 41.79 teaches for free
the silver narrative never materialized and the payments one never started. ltc at 43.79 is a chart that simply exists at this point
