    1. stage 3 means distribution after the big top. the 87.9 percent drawdown IS the aftermath, structure not price. read it again slower

    2. topping refers to the structure coming off the 11.62 high, not a fresh call. but 3 bull vs 5 bear factors = no edge, wait is fair

  1. The 50d MA sits at 1.40 and price is 1.41, so the trend call could flip within days. HOLD feels right while its pinned between 1.23 support and 1.63 resistance.

    1. resistance at 1.63 lines up almost exactly with the 200d at 1.64. thats the level that decides this, not the RSI at 48.9

      1. the 1.63 resistance sitting on the 200d at 1.64 is the whole trade. first touch usually gets sold, id wait for a second attempt before judging the HOLD

        1. second touch logic is right, first test of a confluence that tight usually wicks. holding 1.23 while waiting costs nothing

    2. the 1.63 resistance stacking on the 200d at 1.64 is the whole trade. weekly close above both and this HOLD ages well for the wrong reasons

  2. Lump sum +5.8% while the 12-buy DCA sits at -23.7% on a 35,000 deployment. Timing luck gets called strategy in hindsight, glad the table shows all of it.

    1. @Milo Pert right, and every DCA variant lost ground. When averaging down loses to a single bad entry, the asset itself is the problem.

      1. lump sum at +5.8 vs dca at -23.7 is mostly december entry luck. one sample year is not a verdict on averaging down as a method

    2. 12 buys at -23.7 percent while lump sum sits at +5.8 is brutal but expected. every DCA buy happened inside a downtrend below the 11.62 top

  3. HOLD verdict with only 14,263 left from a lump sum a year ago. Conservative framing by Schmidt here, but the numbers argue for tighter stops.
