62% off the high and its still a BUY? the death cross is literally listed in the bear factors and they call it high conviction lmao
trend following buys strength not dips, thats the whole point of the system. but yeah the death cross at this drawdown is rough, ill give you that
buying strength is the system working as designed. the death cross at 62% off the high is just the model chewing old data. 55.34 breaks or nothing happens
the system flags the death cross and buys anyway because trend weight beats the cross. trend models always look insane right at the reversal point, thats the deal
the conviction score is mostly trend weight, the death cross gets discounted cause it lags. hate the call all you want but the system is at least consistent about it
trend systems dont care where the high was. 54 with a rising 50d is the signal, 146 is just where you got hurt
death cross lags by construction, its pricing in the 146 to 54 slide that already happened. buying trend at 54 with a rising 50d is at least internally consistent
ltc at 54 after a 146 high and they finally ring the buy bell. where was this call at 90
to be fair, catching 54 beats catching the knife at 120. that drawdown was a massacre
even the 2 year backtest lost 35% and the rating is still BUY. at least the tables dont pretend its free money
the 35 percent backtest drawdown being printed in the open is why i half trust it. shadier calls hide their numbers
probably had a SELL at 90 too. trend systems are always last to the party and last to leave
trend systems cant call tops or bottoms, they just ride the middle. 54 with a rising 50d is the only tradeable part of that whole 146 slide
every trend system was flat at 90 too, thats the tradeoff. you give up the first 20 percent of the move for confirmation it stopped falling
RSI at 69.8 with resistance sitting at 55.34. Buying here is chasing imo, I would wait for the pullback toward the 50d around 47.
the 50d has been rising under price the entire climb, waiting for 47 might mean waiting forever. half here, half at the flush if it comes
47 needs a real flush, that 50d has been rising under price the whole way up. might never gift you the fill
litecoin does this every cycle. boring, ignored, then doubles when nobody watches. grabbed some at 55
Grabbed some at 55 too, straight into resistance lol. If 55.34 breaks on real volume this finally gets interesting.
grabbed some at 55 too. litecoin floats are so thin that if 55.34 breaks on volume this moves way faster than people expect
RSI 69.8 right under 55.34 resistance with a death cross still on the chart and the rating is BUY. conviction math beyond me
the conviction score is just counting, 7 bull factors vs 2 bear. RSI is the only adult in the room and it got outvoted
RSI getting outvoted 7 to 2 is the perfect summary of trend systems. momentum says go, the overbought flag files a complaint nobody reads
ltc finally gets a BUY at 54 after ignoring it from 90 to 146 and back down. trend followers call it discipline, i call it arriving after the party but before cleanup
55.34 is the whole trade. hold above it and 54 was a gift, lose it and the death cross crowd gets its victory lap
55.34 holding or breaking decides it, agreed. but that 35 percent backtest drawdown says even the system expects to be wrong for long stretches. sizing matters more than the signal at this entry
