Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

BUY signal while price is 63% off the high and still under a death cross on the longer frame. bold call but the ADX at 40 does suggest the trend has teeth
@normprobe_ ADX at 40 straight off a -63% drawdown is unusual. either the Stage 2 read works or we roll over at 59.25 and find out the honest way
ADX at 40 after a -63% drawdown just means the trend finally turned. the rollover crowd was saying the same thing at 59 support and got run over
63% drawdown plus OBV quietly rising is the classic bottom nobody notices. boring coin, patient trade, works every few years
^ the death cross complaint again. read the ADX, 40 with a rising OBV, trend strength came in weeks before the cross clears
Waiting on that 59.25 resistance test before trusting this. LTC has faked me out at resistance twice already this year
@Conrad fair, but support at 43.64 held twice and OBV keeps climbing. accumulation into strength is the whole thesis here imo
@halvingmaps OBV climbing while price sits 63% off the high is the quiet tell. nobody is bragging about LTC yet, which is usually when it moves
@asikim_ quiet accumulation is the whole LTC pattern. coin goes dead on the timeline for months, then goes vertical and everyone pretends they saw it coming
@Conrad Vee same hesitance here, but 43.64 support holding twice while everything else bled tells me sellers are done. small starter under support, add only if 59.25 breaks with volume
small starter under support then add on a volume break is the right structure. LTC punishes conviction entries harder than almost any top 20 coin
43.64 double hold is fine but that 59.25 line is where the trade actually proves itself. until then this is a range bet, not a reversal
agree 59.25 decides it, but without the 43.64 double hold nobody even reaches that test. the base is the setup, the breakout just confirms
two fakeouts at resistance this year is exactly why the tranche plan exists. you miss the first 10 percent of the 59.25 break and you still sleep fine
fair on waiting for 59.25, but the backtest shows waiting costs you the first leg of the move. the tranche plan covers both outcomes, thats the whole point of it
a 35k deployment plan split into tranches is honestly the only sane way to touch LTC here. lump sum buying a 63% drawdown will age you a decade
deploying 35k into a coin 63% off highs with a death cross overhead. respect the conviction, my stop would be tighter than the spread tho
53.88 with a death cross still on the board is the part that keeps sizing honest. but 43.64 held twice, sellers had their chances
43.64 holding twice while everything else bled is the detail i keep coming back to. sellers had every chance to break it and couldnt
strategy at -34.6% vs buy and hold at -36.2% and it still gets called a deploy signal lol. the 12-buy DCA row at -12% is the only column that aged well here
the dca row winning is the lesson of every backtest ever printed. entry discipline beats signal flair, ADX at 40 just gives you conviction to hold
43.64 double hold into a 59.25 test, thats the 2019 LTC setup on rerun. bought that retest then, watching this one with the same plan
a whole 35k deployment plan on LTC and the thread is still more civil than any BTC post. the boring coin effect is real
civil thread and zero tourists. LTC comment sections going quiet is historically step one of the vertical move, seen this movie before
quiet threads also mean nobody is left to sell imo. and with ADX at 40 the trend finally has fuel, dead comment sections and rising OBV is the combo
