cro at 0.06, down 84 percent from the 0.39 high, and they call this stage 2 uptrend lol. system follows its own rules i guess but that death cross in the bear column is doing heavy lifting
backtest +28.9% but every DCA plan still lost money and CRO is 83% down from the high. and this is a BUY call lmao
83% down from the high is exactly when trend systems flip, you buy base breakouts not tops. the death cross point is fair tho, its a lagging mess
backtest did +28.9% while buy and hold lost 27.8%, thats the whole argument for trend following right there. 47 trades at 47% win rate feels honest too
^ 47% win rate and it still printed 29%, the exits do all the work. most people cant stomach that -46.7% max drawdown tho
the -46.7% drawdown is the tax for the +29%. most people would paper trade this system and quit after five losers in a row
Ten bull factors sure, but the one bear factor is a death cross on the 200d. That contradiction deserves more than a bullet point.
the death cross printed in june, mostly priced in by now. still want a weekly close above 0.06 before touching tranche one
tomas caught the bounce off 0.05 support, fair. but buying right under 0.06 resistance with ATR at 5% a day is a rough entry
stop loss at 0.06 with an 11% cushion on something moving 5% a day ATR? gonna get wicked out the first week. wider stop or smaller size
exactly, ATR at 5% a day means that stop is random noise. halve the size, double the distance
0.05 support held twice on the chart, if price revisits it with the stop just above im adding tranche one there. not my first cro rodeo
bought cro at 0.10 in 2022 and rode it all the way down. reading a backtested BUY at 0.06 feels like therapy
