That backtest is brutal. Strategy -72.2% with a 23% win rate over 35 trades, and the April log shows four straight losses. Fair warning for anyone auto-trading this.
The April entries logged at price 0.00 tell me the data quality was rough back then too. Doubt those early numbers mean much either way.
-72.2% on the backtest and the plan still suggests 25% sizing? I would cut that to 5% and wait for a confirmed close above 1.48.
35 trades is also a sample size of nothing. the 23% win rate is ugly but i would not trust a backtest that thin in either direction, the april entries logged at price 0.00 already show the data is shaky

Those 1Y returns are from when it traded near zero, basically a meaningless stat. At 1.43 the real test is 1.48 resistance.
the 1Y column is basically prehistory pricing, agreed. the only number that matters now is whether 1.48 finally breaks while OBV is still rising
the +52926% table doing heavy lifting to justify a HOLD is my favorite genre of these deep dives lmao
Position sizing 25% with stop at 1.33 and targets at 2.00 each seems reasonable for something this volatile. ATR of 3.6% a day is no joke.
25% sizing on a token whose own backtest lost 72% is a wild take. atr 3.6% daily with a stop at 1.33, you bleed the range for weeks before any breakout shows up
the backtest bleeding 72% is exactly why 25% sizing works if you treat it as accumulation not trading. entries under 1.35, the 1.33 stop is basically the range floor anyway
OBV rising while ADX sits at 15 is basically accumulation with no confirmation. Range trading 1.29 to 1.48 is the only playable setup until that changes.

ADX 15 is textbook no trend. needs a close above 1.48 with volume or this chops between 1.29 and 1.48 forever
1.48 has been the line all year. a close above it with the OBV print already there and this rerates fast, until then range traders eat
1.48 has rejected how many attempts this year? if it finally closes above with volume the rerate you describe is real, but buying the third retest of range lows first is the smarter side of it

adx 15 and a 1.48 ceiling all year, the range call aged perfectly. scalping 1.29 to 1.40 and ignoring the 2.00 targets until there is a real close with volume
verdict is HOLD but targets are at 2.00? so you want the breakout without actually calling it. make up your mind lol
its a stage 1 bottoming call, targets are where you take the breakout if it shows. holding costs nothing, fomoing at 1.43 with adx 15 does
hold with breakout targets is the only honest structure for adx 15. you keep the bag, pre write the plan for the 1.48 close, and skip paying for a call nobody can make yet
