Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate
Data via Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko · Not financial advice. For educational purposes only.
xmr up 60.5 percent in 3 months and almost nobody talks about it. ADX at 48 with price above a rising 200d, this trend is real
nobody talks about it because half the exchanges delisted it, thats where the upside comes from lol
^ honestly the delistings were the best thing to happen to XMR. price had to discover itself without exchange liquidity and here we are at 548
XMR at 548 with ADX at 48.6 and price above both the 50d and 200d. A 31.4 percent drawdown from the 798.91 high looks more like a dip inside a Stage 2 trend than a breakdown.
798.91 felt frothy at the time but a 31.4 pct pullback on an ADX of 48.6 is textbook stage 2 digestion, not a trend break. staggering the 10k around 548 makes sense here
textbook until the 481 shelf goes. digestion and breakdown look identical until that hourly close decides it
The MACD bearish crossover is the one thing giving me pause here. Still, 7 bull factors vs 2 bear on a trend system is a hard signal to fade.
@Bastian same worry on the crossover, but 548 holding above the 481 shelf after a 210 percent style run on ZEC-adjacent privacy names tells me dip buyers are still awake. half position feels right though
Support at 481 looks thin if BTC keeps sliding toward 83k. Monero rarely follows the market cleanly though.
481 thin sure but monero never follows btc cleanly anyway. half the demand is off the charts by design
Monero quietly holding a Stage 2 uptrend while everything else gets repriced against 5 percent yields. Privacy coins with real usage tend to hold up in messy macro stretches.
Stage 2 read is fair but the 481 shelf makes me nervous if BTC loses 83k. running half size until that level proves itself
half size is fair but 481 has been tested three times since the privacy run started. id let an hourly close below it decide, not pre-empt it
exchanges delisting XMR while it quietly holds above both the 50d and 200d is the most on brand thing in crypto. scarcity by force
delistings as accidental supply shock is my favorite crypto irony. cant sell what you cant easily list
