Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate
Data via Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko · Not financial advice. For educational purposes only.
two JUP reports one day apart, the 10k and the 35k portfolio ones, and the deployment plan is the same template with different position sizes. barely any new info between them
it is templated momentum analysis, same ADX around 25, same 0.22 support, same targets of nothing. fine as a quick scan, calling it research is a stretch
fair, but obv rising while price chops is the one thing a template cant fake. thats just buyers quietly showing up
same template different byline happens with the btc dailies too. at least the 10k version admits the backtest only caught 14.9% of the move
^ holding beat the system by 70 points and the lesson everyone takes is to trust the next backtest anyway lol
another JUP analysis a day later with a 10k portfolio instead of 35k. do these authors compare notes before publishing or
okonkwo runs the staking angle, schmidt does the trend system. different portfolios same chart, RSI 63 vs 65 is a wash anyway
they clearly dont lol, the 35k one even had a different rsi. same dashboard, different font
rsi 63 vs 65 and the same 0.22 floor. at that point the second article is a reprint with a smaller number in the title
0.34 entry with support all the way down at 0.22. a 35% cushion under a BUY signal, better risk/reward than most entries posted this week
jup at 0.34 with support down at 0.22 and the perps crowd flipping bullish again. the 0.47 summer high is the ceiling everyone forgot about
Different RSI and a different author still landing on the same 0.22 support and 0.47 ceiling. The dashboard does the thinking, the byline is decoration.
byline as decoration is exactly it. same levels, same numbers, nobody edits for the overlap
JUP up 85.7% in 3 months and the strategy backtest captured 14.9% of it. sometimes the clever move is just holding the thing
14.9% capture on an 85.7% move is the system telling you its built for defense. fine in a bear market, painful in this one
defense systems shine when the market rolls over. running it through an 85 percent JUP run was a stress test in the wrong direction
14.9% of an 85.7% move and it still gets a BUY badge. imagine grading yourself that generously
the badge grades signal execution, the bag grades patience. holding 85 percent with no sleep beats trading 14.9 with alerts all night
patience won this round but the system exists for the moves that never come back. one 85 percent run settles nothing
14.9 of 85.7 is rough but its a momentum system on a coin that went vertical, whipsaw was guaranteed. holding was the trade, the template wasnt
vol ratio 1.77 with OBV rising is the one line in here I actually trust. accumulation on volume is harder to fake than the rest of the dashboard
10k portfolio version wants entries at 0.34 with the 52w high sitting at 0.47. thats a 27 percent ceiling on the best case, the risk reward math is doing nothing for me here
27 percent to the 0.47 ceiling against a 35 percent drop to support, the risk reward math really is lopsided. weird what earns a BUY badge
okonkwo and schmidt publishing the same JUP map 24 hours apart tells you the newsroom treats these as content, not calls
golden cross with adx 25 is textbook stage 2 and the lone macd bear factor barely matters. the entry ladder matters more than the buy badge
