  1. deploy_skeptic_

576 BNB down 58% from ATH and the call is HOLD with a 35k deploy plan? feels like dollar cost averaging into a falling knife but maybe the stage 3 topping label is doing heavy lifting here

    1. deploy_skeptic_ BNB at 576 with 57.9% drawdown is different from other alcoins tho. exchange token with actual fee burn revenue. not saying buy but the fundamentals arent zero

      1. Fair point on the fee burn. Still, those fundamentals sit entirely downstream of one company, which a drawdown chart never shows.

        1. downstream of one company is the entire bear case in three words. burns depend on exchange volume, volume depends on the exchange staying out of trouble. one flag, one point of failure

          1. one flag yes, but that flag also owns the chain paying the burn. if the exchange dies the chain and the token go with it, its one bet not two

          2. vesna said it perfectly, signal not feeling. weekly close under the band and all the burn talk means nothing

          3. The chain doesnt pay for itself if volume dries up though. Burn shrinks and the thesis shrinks with it. That concentration cuts both ways

          4. that single point of failure also survived a doj settlement and kept the burns running anyway. history counts for something even if the concentration risk is real

    2. the stage 3 label is the whole report tbh. its a hold because the band hasnt broken, not because anyone loves 576

    3. read the piece again, the system exits on a weekly close below the stage 3 band. its a defined invalidation level and cutting happens on a signal

  2. 3 bull vs 4 bear factors and they still call it HOLD not SELL. the trend following system is basically saying dont touch it which is fair but calling it HOLD feels generous

    1. 3 bull vs 4 bear and HOLD is how every research desk keeps both sides happy. the trend table said exit weeks ago imo

    2. counterweight is the burn tho. quarterly burns funded by real exchange volume give it a floor most alts never get, so hold over sell is defensible even at 576

    3. counting bull vs bear factors and ignoring position sizing is the amateur move. the system probably scaled exposure down at stage 3, HOLD just means keep the core

      1. this. people read HOLD as endorsement when the position is probably half sized versus a stage 1 asset. the label is the least interesting part of the whole report

  3. The interesting number everyone skips is 58 trades at a 50 percent win rate producing 35 percent. The signal is in the exits, the stage 3 label is just the current chapter

  4. The burn math only works while Binance keeps its volume. Concentration risk is the whole thesis, and nobody prices it.

  5. 576 with quarterly burns funded by actual exchange volume is the only reason this isnt rated SELL like every other alt. the chart ignores the buyback

  6. 576 hold on 3 bull vs 4 bear reads harsh until you remember the burns are funded by real volume, not emissions. most alts cant say that at half the drawdown

  7. people keep skipping that bnb burns are funded by real exchange volume. most exchange tokens are pure speculation, this one has a revenue line

  8. stage 3 topping label on a 35k deployment plan is a weird combo. what actually flips this from hold to cut, or does the system just hold forever regardless of price

    1. trend systems exit on signal not on feeling. a weekly close below the stage 3 band and its a cut, everything above it is noise the model is paid to ignore

    2. my guess is a weekly close below the stage 3 lower band. until then the model just rides, thats the deal with trend systems

  9. 52 week high at 1370 down to 576. the bull factors are burns and chain activity, fine. reasonable hold if you already own it, strange buy if you dont
