    1. @pegarithm the alternative was selling at 0.19 after a -86% drawdown, which is usually the worst possible exit. holding a stale bag and buying more arent the same trade either

      1. correct read. hold is just the default state for a bag this far underwater, the engine is basically saying no new information

    2. every hold thesis has one level doing all the work lol. mine is sUSDe yield staying positive, if funding goes negative the chart stuff stops mattering

  1. RSI at 41 with price under the 50d MA. 3 bull factors vs 6 bear ones tells you everything, this bottoming call needs way more confirmation

      1. the gold cross point is fair but check the 50d slope, its rising while price sits under it. i sold half at 0.24 and the 0.18 chop since has me fine waiting for the sUSDe queue to turn before the rest

    1. @Nadia V. agreed on needing confirmation, but RSI 41 after a drop this deep is barely oversold. if 0.18 cracks on real volume then the whole hold thesis is dead, until then its just chop

      1. Agreed, and the 200d at 0.12 sits another 35 percent below. With 3 bull factors against 6 bear ones this hold is really just praying 0.18 chops until funding recovers

      2. 0.18 is the line but check what funding did the last two times it got tested. spot held both times purely because the carry was still positive, third time might not get that assist

        1. the funding assist point is underrated. if the basis trade stops paying at these levels the 0.18 line is just a speed bump, not a floor

        2. oskar the third test already started, funding went flat last week and spot barely held. one more week of soft basis and 0.18 is a speed bump not a floor

  2. 3 bull vs 6 bear factors and the verdict is hold. been cost averaging since 0.31, at this point hold is just the bag holder motto with a chart attached lol

  3. funding yield is the part nobody mentions. ENA only works while the basis trade pays, so the chart is downstream of that. watching sUSDe growth matters more than another wedge here

    1. watching sUSDe growth is the right call. last time funding flipped negative the peg stress showed up within weeks and the chart guys were three candlesticks behind

    2. right take. watched the sUSDe queue thin out the last time funding went soft and ENA led the whole market down. the wedge everyone keeps drawing is downstream of that basis trade paying or not

      1. the queue thinning led price by weeks both times tho. if you wait for funding to flip and the chart to confirm you are already three candlesticks late, that whole cycle repeats

        1. so the trade is watching the queue, not the chart. anyone got a clean sUSDe mint and redeem dashboard that isnt paywalled

          1. dune has a few free ones, search sUSDe supply growth. the redeem queue depth is the number, mints drying up while redeems stack up is the loudest top signal

          2. fen asking for a dashboard, token terminals free tier covers the sUSDe queue. watch mint minus redeem weekly, that spread turned negative before both major drawdowns

    3. been checking the sUSDe queue weekly since the last drawdown and you are right, the second growth stalls ENA leads the market down. wedge talk means nothing without that carry

      1. queue watcher solidarity here. thing nobody prices is a usde depeg scenario where the wedge means nothing and 0.18 is a memory. carry trades fine until the day they dont, ask anyone who ran ust loops

        1. the ust comparison is a stretch, usde is collateralized not algorithmic. but the directional point stands, the carry is the only thing backing this chart

  4. 3 bull vs 6 bear factors and the verdict is hold lol. at least the 0.18 line gives a clean invalidation, most of these calls hide the exit

  5. 6 bear factors against 3 bull and HOLD at 0.19 basically means the model sees dead space. Fair enough, but say flat instead of hold if there is no edge.
