  1. 67 trades over 2 years for a -2.4% return at 45% win rate is basically a part time job where you pay the exchange. at least it beat buy and hold i guess

    1. 45% win rate can work when winners run, but target 1 and target 2 are both 8.00. 8.1% upside twice against a -5.2% stop feels thin imo

      1. Diego is right about the thin math. Two targets parked at the same 8.00 level with resistance at 7.52 first means you are selling into a wall twice. 8.1% upside against a 5.2% stop is barely 1.5 to 1.

        1. Agree on the double 8.00 target being the weak spot. With resistance marked at 7.52 first, half the position gets absorbed there anyway. Would rather see target 2 closer to 8.60.

        2. two targets parked at the same 8.00 with a 7.52 wall in front is hope squared. split them across levels or admit its one trade

    2. the 6.00 low wasnt the entry, it was the gift nobody had guts to take. 7.40 halfway between support and the 200d wall, hold and pray

    3. beat buy and hold by 2 percent after 67 executions and two years of screen time. the only one who clearly won there is the exchange collecting fees

    1. same boat, entry around 11.8. the only thing keeping the HOLD case alive is the fee tier cuts and burns, otherwise this is a slow bleed with extra steps

      1. The fee burns kept me in too, but both targets at 8.00 above the 7.52 wall are doing a lot of heavy lifting for this HOLD.

    2. holding a 54% drawdown so you dont have to book the L is the most relatable trade on this site. two targets at 8.00 is a prayer not a plan

    3. cope but same, bought near 12. the 6.00 low was the actual entry, everything after that is just damage control lol

      1. bought near 12 club checking in. i keep telling myself the 8.00 target saves me but if 6.72 goes its just a donation to the exchange at that point

        1. the 12 club keeps finding each other in these comments, its a support group at this point lmao. 6.72 holds or we all fade together

          1. 12 club since march, can confirm the meetings are weekly and the coffee is bad. if 6.72 goes im framing the chart as modern art and calling it a lesson

    4. held from 12 as well and honestly kcs_kopeck’s framing is healthier than the article’s. -54% off the high with a HOLD verdict is a feeling, not a plan. 6.72 or the 200d reclaim decides it, everything else is cope

  2. fee burns only matter when volumes come back. kcs at 7.40 is a call option on kucoin surviving the share squeeze, fair priced, not cheap

    1. this is it. burns shrink supply but price needs the volume leg, and kucoin share usage is the part nobody can verify from outside

    2. fee burns on flat volume is a shrinking pie cut into fewer slices. its fine, its just not the bull case people want it to be

  3. 45% win rate over 67 trades and the verdict is HOLD because the fee burns might revive volume. that is hope with a spreadsheet attached

  4. the article wants 15k split across two entries at 8.00 with a 7.52 wall sitting in front and calls that HOLD. i call it one trade with extra steps, let the 6.72 sweep happen first

  5. ADX reading 30.8 like that is a strong trend while price sits under the 200d at 7.42. Strong trend down, maybe. With 2.58% daily ATR that 6.72 support is a coin flip.

    1. price sitting under the 200d at 7.42 while both targets sit at 8.00 is the part that gets me. every rally has to fight through that wall first

    2. adx measures strength not direction, ted is right that the 30.8 reading here is mostly the downtrend grinding. 6.72 is the level that actually matters

      1. zigzag_zu nailed the ADX point. 30.8 just says the downtrend is persistent, and persistence down plus two targets at the same 8.00 is not a setup i’d deploy 15k into. half at 6.72 hold or nothing

  6. kucoin survived the share squeeze and the doj case and kcs still sits 54 percent off the 16.23 high. surviving stops being a thesis at some point, show me the volumes

    1. coinventory nailed it. surviving the doj case priced out the tail risk, now show me the 6.72 hold before any 8.00 talk
