sell signal on something pinned to a dollar with a 0.25 percent band. even the model should take the day off when atr is basically zero
Selling a stablecoin at 1.00 because it dipped 3.4% off the high is a bold strategy. ATR of 0.01% a day tells you everything, there is no trade here
bold strategy is right. the model sees 3.4 percent off the 1.04 high and shorts par. only ones earning on USDG are the arb bots clipping both spreads
selling a peg at par also means eating spread on both ends. the only real trade on this one is skipping it entirely
exactly, redemption at par plus entry spread means you pay to stand still. only edge on a stable like this is carry if you can park it somewhere paying yield, otherwise there is nothing to do here
carry only works if some venue actually lists USDG for lending. good luck finding that depth, the real trade is to never open the chart again
the 1.04 high being counted as real range is the part that gets me. clip that and the chart is a flatline with a coupon attached. shorting it is just donating fees to whoever runs the peg
donating fees to whoever runs the peg is exactly it. system flags SELL on a 1.0004 high, the only real trade here is not trading
the 1.04 peg high is doing a lot of work in this analysis. every stablecoin drifts, calling stage 3 topping on USDG feels like the model misfiring
model probably just sees any asset near resistance as a short. agree this one is a pass, not a sell
model misfiring is right. stage 3 topping needs range expansion, a 0.01 percent daily atr is the opposite of that
