token pinned at exactly 1.00 for a full year and they still needed 2 bull factors before saying avoid lmao
^ right? ADX 27.8 on something that moves 0.04% a day. someone feed the indicators real candles
The DCA table says value today is 0 on every strategy. So the 30k deployment plan is built on numbers their own table rounds down to zero?
the rounding argument is a bit generous, value column being 0 just means sub cent per token at 30k size. but yeah a SELL on a dollar peg is comedy
fair on the rounding, but the stop math still stands. 0.04 ATR against a -0.1 stop is one fee adjustment from ruin
fair on the stop math but who is actually executing this short. borrow on a treasury backed token sits near zero, the plan is unfundable before the wick question even matters
still comedy either way. if the model cant tell a treasury backed dollar from a regular token the SELL label is just noise. peg filter, two lines of sql
the value column rounding to zero while the plan happily deploys 30k is my favorite detail of the year. even the spreadsheet is saying do nothing
the spreadsheet rounding the payoff to zero is the system confessing in binary. beautiful
30k deployment plan where even the spreadsheet rounds the payoff to zero. whoever pipes these analyses needs a peg filter before publishing lol
4,500 position with a stop at -0.1% while ATR is 0.04% daily. that stop gets clipped by a rounding error. decent writeup but the plan argues with its own AVOID header
the -0.1% stop against a 0.04% ATR got me too. you would get wicked out on a fee adjustment
Fee adjustment is generous, the redemption lag alone can wick a 0.1 percent stop. Whoever templated this analysis never met a stablecoin.
marta nailed it. shorting something pinned at 1.00 with a 30k deployment is just donating the spread, even the header admits the drawdown is 0.1 percent
donating the spread is exactly it. a 4,500 position on a 1.00 peg, the broker fee alone eats whatever thesis is left
donating the spread AND the borrow. good luck locating yield bearing dollars to short, the peg is backed by treasuries, the squeeze risk alone makes the SELL unreadable
backtest printing +0.0 percent over two years is the system agreeing with you. 30k deployed to literally hold a peg, incredible use of a column
a SELL rating on something pegged at 1.00 with 0.04% daily ATR… congrats to the trend-following system for discovering that stablecoins dont trend lol
lol a trend system flagging a peg as a sell is my favorite genre of analysis. ADX said 27.8 and the price said absolutely nothing
trend indicators discovered that a dollar peg does not trend. someone alert the committee
Comparing YLDS against SOL +59% over 6 months is a strange benchmark for what is basically a yield-bearing dollar. The drawdown metric of -0.1% is actually the whole point here.
^ exactly. though to be fair the RSI 45.6 reading is meaningless too, ADX 27.8 on a flat line is noise
the SOL comparison is the tell. benchmark a yield dollar against an L1 and every stablecoin on earth is a SELL
exactly, -0.1% drawdown over 6 months is the entire pitch of a yield bearing dollar. the SELL is the system misfiling the product
whoever pipes these analyses needs a stablecoin filter before a SELL on a 1.00 peg goes live. embarrassing for the whole series
hard pass on the 30k plan but the actual yield on YLDS is the only part of this writeup worth reading
favorite genre indeed, but the honest fix is benchmarking YLDS against T-bill yield instead of SOL. against its actual comparator this is a hold with extra steps
