The 10x rally is officially dead — CryptoQuant's founder calls 3-5x the new ceiling
CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju says Bitcoin has entered a mature bull cycle: a deliberately tempered 3-5x projection instead of another 10x+ parabolic run, followed by a milder bear market — because institutional ownership and a much larger market cap dampen both the booms and the busts.
The Data: Ju's scale argument is quantified: roughly $697 billion of realized-cap growth produced a 689% gain this cycle, while just $2.7 billion generated 55,000%+ gains in Bitcoin's early years. MVRV — the ratio he points to as key evidence — is holding the line, and BTC trades near $85,600 as of writing, up from ~$75,600 on September 15.
The Takeaway: Position for a choppier, institution-paced cycle, not a moonshot. Note the caveat: Ju gave no starting price or date for the 3-5x math — it describes the full cycle, not a call from today's level.

This already happened: Tether froze $23M in USDT tied to Garantex in March 2025. Custody risk is now explicitly priced into a national framework.
🯉 With Congress stalled — the CLARITY Act failed cloture 49-50 on Sept 15 — CFTC Chair Selig is rewriting rulebooks anyway: tokenized collateral (including bank-issued stablecoins) posted as margin in seconds. Regulators are no longer asking permission. The tokenization trade now has a regulatory engine, not just a narrative.
🔴 The "$200B a month" figure is Fireblocks' entire network volume, not Bitpace's — and the integration announcement came with no before-and-after performance data. Boring infrastructure is genuinely bullish long-term, but there's no trade here. File it, don't fade it or chase it.
🔴 XLM ticked up 2.7% to $0.2135 (+11.2% on the week) after the Mastercard-backed platform added Stellar to its single API across 130+ markets. Real infrastructure win — but payments volume doesn't automatically lift the token, and XLM still sits ~76% below its all-time high. Infrastructure wins before tokens do.
