Ragnarok Online Landverse America has opened a Seasonal Tournament Server that runs from October 5 through November 4, giving players in the Americas a month-long competitive ladder with Nova Keys, emblem bags and Adamantine Blessing on the line.
The event opened at 07:00 GMT-3 on October 5 and closes ahead of scheduled maintenance on November 4 at the same hour. When the server came online, the official Ragnarok Online Landverse: America account posted a reminder on X: make sure your game client has been fully updated to the latest version before selecting the server.
## Fresh accounts, no shortcuts
Existing characters cannot be brought into the tournament. Participants must register a new Landverse Tournament America account on the registration page and link it to their main account on the Muka server, which is where rewards are ultimately delivered.
Character creation offers real strategic depth, with 17 classes available: Lord Knight, Paladin, Sniper, Clown, Gypsy, High Priest, Champion, High Wizard, Professor, Assassin Cross, Stalker, Whitesmith, Creator, Gunslinger, Star Gladiator, Soul Linker and Ninja.
Not every tool of the trade is allowed. Six skills are disabled for the event: Back Slide, Ice Wall, Warp Portal, Arrow Crafting, Battle Chant and Hermode’s Rod, closing off mobility and utility tricks that would otherwise warp the competitive meta.
## How matches actually work
Each match runs a maximum of 10 minutes. Destroying the enemy Yggdrasil Core ends the match immediately in that team’s favor, but the Core is protected at the start. Teams must first take down the opposing Root before they can touch the Core itself.
If neither Core falls before the clock expires, victory goes to the team with the highest combined score. Points come from eliminations, destroying the Root, gathering Ancient Runes and defeating Zyrron, a shared objective monster that rewards the squad able to bring it down.
Landverse Emblems are awarded after every match, two for winners and one for losers. Emblems are handed in to the Landverse Meow NPC, and each one converts into a single contribution point, the currency that drives the entire ranking system.
## The reward structure
Ranked rewards go to the 10 players holding the most contribution points, with ties broken in favor of whoever submitted emblems first.
The top three players each receive a Rare-Epic Emblem Bag, 50 Nova Keys, three SSR Treasure Expansion Boxes (Selection), a Character Slot Expansion Coupon and 500 Adamantine Blessing. Players finishing fourth through 10th get a Rare Emblem Bag, 20 Nova Keys, three SSR Treasure Expansion Boxes (Random), a Character Slot Expansion Coupon and 250 Adamantine Blessing. No distribution date for the ranked rewards was given in the announcement.
Players outside the top 10 are not left empty-handed. Five contribution tiers reward emblem turnover at 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 emblems.
The five-emblem tier unlocks event potions, scrolls and 10 Adamantine Blessing. At 10 emblems, players receive Medium and Mysterious Life Potions, HE manuals and 20 Adamantine Blessing. The 25-emblem package adds one Nova Key, seven-day Fly Wings, a Blessing Ore Mirror and 30 Adamantine Blessing.
The 50-emblem tier awards a Pet Scroll, two Nova Keys, a Gym Pass, a Character Surpassing Ticket and 50 Adamantine Blessing. The top milestone, at 100 emblems, delivers two Rare Lucky Pet Scrolls with a 25 percent success rate, five Nova Keys, a Character Slot Coupon, a Hi-Classes Surpassing Ticket and 100 Adamantine Blessing.
## Why Nova Keys matter
The Nova Keys offered as tournament rewards are tied to the NOVA Key Mechanic introduced when the America server launched, the same milestone at which publisher Maxion Tech lifted some trading restrictions on items and equipment. That makes the tournament one of the most reliable current routes to a resource with real in-game economic weight.
The backdrop is worth knowing. Gravity owns the Ragnarok Online IP, and Maxion Tech publishes and operates the Americas server under license. A closed beta ran in November of last year, with North and Latin American servers launching in December.
This is also not the first competitive push in the region. In March, the America server kicked off the Ragnarok Pro Circuit 2026, its first competitive season for guilds, built on circuit points earned in War of Emperium events. The circuit’s first War of Emperium was held on February 8 across five castles in Aldebaran, with leading guilds advancing to Major tournaments in Round Robin and Double Elimination formats on the road to the global Ragnarok Landverse Championship.
For solo players who missed the guild-focused Pro Circuit, the Seasonal Tournament Server is the first ladder built directly around individual performance. With a full month on the clock and rewards trickling down to even casual emblem farmers, the event doubles as an on-ramp for new players and a proving ground for the region’s competitive scene, one Meow NPC hand-in at a time.
a month long ladder with rewards mailed to your Muka main is clean design. now if only they said how many nova keys a normal human can actually grind in 30 days
bet the nova key drip lands just under what a casual can grind in 30 days. thats how these month long ladders keep you logging in daily
no Back Slide or Ice Wall basically deletes Stalker and Professor from the meta, guess this is a Lord Knight and High Priest lobby now
high priest still brings safety wall for the core fight though. ladder meta goes ranged, objective meta goes tank and heal, depends which side wins rounds
whole meta boils down to can the safety wall tank outlast sniper chip damage on the core. ten minute cap makes every rotation count double
^ true, but Zyrron decides half these matches anyway. shared objective design always turns into a knife fight over contribution points
banning Back Slide AND Ice Wall in the same tournament. whoever balanced this genuinely hates professors lmao
deleting back slide and ice wall in one patch is a direct hit on stalker and professor. expect sniper and clown to run the ladder while everyone relearns
10 min cap per match and you win by killing the Yggdrasil Core. so it is basically tower dive meta, assassin cross food
Rewards going to your Muka account while the ladder itself is fresh-only is a decent anti-smurf measure. Still expect the top 10 to be full of Stalkers by week two.
