Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate
Data via Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko · Not financial advice. For educational purposes only.
RSI sitting at 80.9 and the signal is still BUY? their own system exits above 82, so we’re basically standing at the sell trigger already. late entries like this are how you become exit liquidity
the exit trigger at 82 with rsi already 80.9 is my whole problem with this call. youre risking the full stop to make 2 rsi points lol
33% win rate across 39 trades and the strategy still finished up 5.7%. trend following is weird like that, you just eat small losses until one trend pays for all of them
39 trades is also nothing statistically. one lucky trend run in a 3 month backtest and the win rate swings 10 points either way
39 trades in one 3 month window producing 5.7 percent is noise wearing a strategy costume. give it three full cycles before trusting the win rate
weird until you realize the 5.7 percent probably came from three trades carrying the whole book. cut those from the 39 and the strategy is flat. still holding my bdx bag tho lol
privacy coins finally catch a bid and its beldex of all things leading lol. rsi at 80.9 tho, not aping a top
rsi 80 plus a death cross and the system still prints HIGH conviction. trend following really is just vibes with math
BDX is up 0.3% over 3 months while BTC did 31.9% in the same window. And the verdict is BUY with high conviction? The relative table argues with itself.
31.9 vs 0.3 and somehow conviction is HIGH. i actually like bdx as a privacy bet but this table is doing the bear case for free
31.9 vs 0.3 over the same window is the entire argument. high conviction should collapse the second your own relative table screams underperformance
both targets listed at 0.00 (-100%) is obviously a template bug, someone should fix that before publishing. also a stop at 0.08 is basically the 50d, feels tight for a coin doing 3.16% ATR a day
third time this month a deployment table shipped with broken numbers lol. and a stop at 0.08 when the 50d sits at 0.08 exactly, thats not a stop thats the trend line
third time this month and still no pinned correction. i recompute every deployment table myself now, honestly faster than trusting the desk
targets at 0.00 made it through drafting, editing and a high conviction banner. not one human read this before it went live
both targets printed at 0.00 and nobody at the desk caught it before publishing. the whole deployment table hangs on those numbers, kinda undermines the high conviction banner
0.00 targets and it still shipped lol. the masternode economics is the only interesting part of bdx and it got maybe one paragraph
the 0.00 targets were still up hours later, apparently nobody at the desk reads the comments section either
Price sits at 0.09 and resistance is also 0.09. So the signal fires straight into the ceiling. I will wait for an actual hold above it.
agreed on waiting but bdx never gives clean holds, it chops sideways for weeks. half size at market and add only once 0.09 flips into support is the pragmatic version
33 percent win rate and i still kinda respect the call. bdx is one of three privacy coins with actual mainnet usage, the trend table is noise but the bag thesis isn’t
high conviction buy while rsi sits at 80.9 above a death cross. i actually like the bdx privacy thesis yet this specific read would get laughed out of any trading desk
rsi at 80.9 over a death cross is froth, not a breakout. the privacy thesis is fine, the entry timing is the problem with this whole plan
rsi 80 over a death cross on bdx happens like four times a year, its a 3 percent atr coin, overbought means nothing here
33 percent win rate up 5.7 percent means the whole return is two trades, and they stamped high conviction on it. love bdx, hate this writeup
