Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate
Data via Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko · Not financial advice. For educational purposes only.
0 bull factors out of 8. even the 2 year backtest only cleared +0.7%, the system is politely telling you to walk away lol
54% win rate across 11 trades is a coin flip with extra steps. ADX at 11.2 means theres no trend to follow anyway
ADX 11.2 is the part nobody quotes. no trend means no edge, and a 54% win rate on 11 trades is literally noise dressed up as stats
this. ADX under 12 plus a sample of 11 trades, you could flip a coin at a bus stop and get the same edge. staying out
veto exactly. ADX 11 is the trend followers kryptonite, you can have a perfect setup and still bleed out to chop
bought near the 0.18 top on the name alone. sitting at 0.05 now, hardest lesson of the year for my portfolio
0.18 to 0.05 is brutal but the 0.7 percent backtest was printed in the same piece. the warning label was right there and nobody read it
the warning label was there in 0.7 percent sized font lol. brand association is not a backtest
same, bought the 0.14 breakout story. a 2 year backtest clearing +0.7% while price sits 72% off the high says everything about the signal quality here
bought the 0.18 top story too. held all the way down to 0.05 because the brand association had to matter. it did not
a 15,000 deployment plan with 0 bull factors out of 8. respect for publishing it anyway instead of forcing some hedge into the conclusion
0 bull out of 8 and support vs resistance is 0.05 vs 0.06. thats a dead coin walking inside a one cent range lol
a one cent range at 0.05 is basically a delisting notice in slow motion. even the SELL card feels generous
