    1. using enjin for this was a weird choice in hindsight. could have just used a simple erc-721 with no marketplace integration

      1. token_templates enjin was one of the few options in 2019. erc-721 tooling was barely functional. easy to judge with 2026 hindsight

    2. badges surviving platform shutdowns matters more than people think. had three certifications disappear when a platform shut down in 2018

  3. 2019 and microsoft was already thinking about portable credentials. most of the industry is still catching up to this idea
