  1. A backtest that turns 15k into 30,060 while buy and hold bleeds 54%? That gap smells overfit. 43 trades in 2 years is a thin sample to trust.

    1. every momentum backtest looks golden until the death cross whipsaws you twice. tho RSI 52 with price above the 200d is at least real, unlike ETH at +41.8% making WLD look dead

    2. Fair on the thin sample, but even if you haircut that 30,060 backtest figure by half it still beats buy and hold bleeding 54%. The direction of the argument survives the fee haircut

  2. nobody is making the actual bull case here. WLD at 0.37 re-rates fast if world app volume ever picks up, the chart alone undersells it

  3. The backtest numbers look nice on paper but 43 trades with 54% win rate barely beats a coin flip. Fees would eat most of that 100% return.

    1. @Stefan Brud nah, win rate means nothing without the risk/reward per trade. those WLD swings from the log go -20% to +15%, asymmetry is where the edge is

  4. funny how WLD sitting above the 200d with RSI 52 counts as strength when ETH is up 41.8% over the same window. relative performance is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this HOLD call

    1. 12 entries averaging into a token that fell 91% from 4.17 and the whole plan is only down 12.4%? that column quietly makes the strongest case in the entire writeup

      1. the part that gets me is the 30,060 backtest vs 54% buy and hold bleed. even haircut it hard and the laddering still wins, just annoying it takes 12 entries of patience
