a stablecoin at 1.00 with a -17.7% drawdown column is the most confusing chart header i have seen all week
stable_pete the -17.7% drawdown is from the depeg wobble back in the spring, not from price action. still agree the whole table reads wrong next to a 1.00 peg
ok the spring depeg explains the drawdown column but then why is the backtest even running 79 trades on a pegged token. just hold the thing and move on lol
79 trades, 0% win rate, -2.3% total. on a coin pinned at 1.00. incredible what people will backtest
To be fair, 2.3% across 79 round trips is basically spread and fees. The actual takeaway is GHO moved less than 0.1% all year, there is nothing to trade here
peg_watcher the 0% win rate is the system being honest tbh. any strategy that trades a pegged token that often is just churning fees for the venue
That ADX 75.7 reading is brutal. Agree with the WAIT call here, buying a top Stage 3 against a death cross is how you lose 15% for no reason.
2.66x volume on a down day and people still asking why not buy. the OBV uptick is the only thing keeping this from being a straight short tbh
ADX 75.7 strong bear trend on a token that sits at a dollar. funniest read of my week
