  1. 83.8% down from the 0.60 high and the system still says BUY because price is above a rising 50d. This is exactly why trend following exists, you ride the small basing moves and skip the death spiral.

    1. riding a rising 50d while 83% down from 0.60 is fine until the ADX regime flips. 0.08 support is one bad candle away, that stop at 0.09 does a lot of work here

  2. Interesting that the backtest returned -6.4% while buy and hold lost -46.9%. Losing less is not winning though. 63 trades in 2 years with a 44% win rate means a lot of churn for basically staying flat.

    1. Fair point Katarzyna, but that -36.5% max drawdown vs holding at -46.9% is the real story. On an aggressive portfolio the survival math matters more than the headline return.

    2. Katarzyna Wrobel churn is the real cost, 63 trades of spread to lose 6.4 instead of 46.9. cheap insurance or expensive nothing, pick one

    3. 63 trades to end at 11,234 from 12,000… the fees and spread on ALGO pairs eat you alive at that churn rate. still better than my buy and hold from 0.42 lol

  3. Deployment plan with stop at 0.09 and targets listed at 0.00 looks like a template bug, no way that is intentional. DCA with 4 buys beating 6 and 12 buys at -16.2% is a nice detail though.

    1. Noticed the same thing with Target 1 and 2 both at 0.00, has to be a data issue. Editors should fix that before anyone takes the 3,000 sizing seriously.
