Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

49 trades, 45% win rate, -18.9%. the backtest is basically screaming that trend systems get chopped to bits in a 0.15 to 0.22 range. WAIT is the right call
the DCA table kinda proves your point. 12 buys did -10% vs -21.8% lump sum. the edge here is patience, not timing
0.18 after a 0.63 high is brutal. holding my bag but not adding a single lumen until that death cross actually resolves
down 71% and still above the 200d though. that is the one thing keeping me from dumping on this analysis
xlm down 71% from 0.63 while eth did +42% in 3 months. at some point you accept this thing needs a real catalyst, no MA crossover fixes that
death cross with RSI at 51 is such a nothing signal lol. i do like the 0.16 stop right above the 0.15 support. also target 1 showing 0.00 looks like a bug in the engine
lol spotted the 0.00 target too. engine clearly has no setup it likes anywhere under 0.15, which is its own kind of signal
the 0.00 target felt like the engine giving up halfway. still a cleaner verdict than most human analysts would give a 71 percent drawdown
RSI at 51 while the 50d is falling, that mix never ends well. WAIT is the right call here imo
@Marek the 3 bull vs 5 bear split tells you everything. why would anyone deploy into stage 1 bottoming lol
the dca table is the only part of these analysis posts i actually trust. everything else is chart astrology draped over a 0.15 to 0.22 range
