      1. late how? 0.73 to 1.10 is the recovery leg, the 11.60 to 0.73 part happened without any of us. rather buy a confirmed second leg than try to catch the first

    1. 8 of 10 green is mostly momentum confirming itself, but ADX 34.8 with OBV accumulating while price holds above both MAs is more than hope

  1. DOT at 1.10 with a 52w high of 11.60, that -90.5% drawdown number is brutal to look at. Still, price above both MAs with ADX 34.8 and OBV accumulating, this is the healthiest the chart has looked in a long while.

    1. Pim Vos careful with the 200d at 1.08, price is sitting right on top of it. A close back under turns the whole Stage 2 call into a fakeout and support is all the way down at 0.81.

  2. Win rate 47% across 51 trades and -32.3% total on the strategy backtest, yet 8 bull factors vs 2 bear gets a HIGH conviction label. The backtest log this week is basically breakeven scalps of 2-3%. I will watch the 1.28 resistance instead of buying midrange.

    1. 47% win rate with positive returns means the edge is in R multiples not hit rate, that part checks out. still with you on waiting for 1.28, midrange entries are how you become the exit liquidity

    2. 8 of 10 green with a 47 pct hit rate is consistent with trend systems tbh, the bear factors are usually just its still down a lot. do agree on skipping midrange entries tho

  3. watching the 1.08 200d like everyone else but nobody mentions the 0.81 shelf under it. that is the actual invalidation, 1.28 is just the first cashout tranche if the Stage 2 read holds

    1. the 0.81 shelf take is the sane one here. everyone anchored on the 200d at 1.08 keeps forgetting the low was 0.73, one bad wick through 1.08 and that whole range gets retested

  4. dot at 1.10, down 90% from 11.60, and the system prints BUY with 8 of 10 factors green. either the cycle bottom call of the year or a gorgeous trap

    1. shardlow_ agreed, and 58% participation quorum logic aside, the tell for me is OBV still accumulating at 1.10 instead of fading. if buyers were exhausted off the 0.73 low you would see distribution, not this

      1. wicktail_ the OBV point is fair but 58% participation cuts both ways, plenty of that volume is churn between validators not new demand

    2. shardlow_ trap or bottom, either way the 200d at 1.08 does the deciding for you. close below and the BUY is void, hold above and the 1.28 level everyone keeps mentioning is only one push away

  5. Everyone dunking on the backtest but the DCA 12 table is the actual takeaway. 9,424 vs 3,082 for lump sum on the same asset. Timing still matters more than signal quality for anything down 90%.

    1. thinice_ the DCA table being the real takeaway is so right. 9,424 vs 3,082 on the same falling knife, signal quality barely matters compared to not lump summing at 11 bucks

    2. thinice_ the 9,424 vs 3,082 DCA gap is also why the 47% win rate misleads people. five tranches on a 6.26% ATR turns a bad entry into an average one, lump sum turns it into a -30% diary entry

    1. the 6.26% ATR is exactly why the plan splits the 12k into laddered entries. one full entry at 1.10 with a tight stop is just donating to the wick

  6. DOT above the 50d and the 200d at the same time, first time in what feels like forever. ADX 34.8 backs it up too, this is not a random green day

  7. everyone fighting about the 47% win rate while the actual plan spaces entries across five tranches. the edge is not blowing the budget on day one, the signal is secondary

    1. the tranche spacing also saves you from the 6.26 ATR specifically, on a 2 ATR coin one entry is fine. the plan matches the assets personality is all

  8. buying a 90% drawdown after +50% off the 0.73 low with a 47% hit rate system means the five tranches do all the work, and honestly that is fine. cash the first slice at 1.28, ride the rest as house money

  9. everyone anchored to 1.28 meanwhile the 52w high is 11.60. even a partial reversion to 3 changes the whole return math, drawdowns this deep usually overshoot on the way back too
