a SELL rating on a stablecoin trading at exactly 1.00 is certainly a genre of analysis
right? like whats the deployment plan here, buy at 1.00 and pray for 0.98 lol
to be fair to the analysis a SELL on a stablecoin is really a depeg risk call dressed up as price target. still funny to see it written as a 10k deployment plan tho
Actually read it, the sell call is about opportunity cost on dead capital, not the peg itself. 10k parked in USD1 earning nothing is the real point Aisha is making. Headline is a bit misleading tho
opportunity cost framing is fine but then the whole piece is just a cash drag argument with a stablecoin skin. the reserve table is doing zero work in a SELL call
fair reading, but then frame it as a yield piece. slapping SELL on something pinned at 1.00 does the actual argument no favors
if you hold USD1 the only thing that matters is what wlfi backs it with. reserve composition, period
