RSI 43.2 on a dollar peg is kind of hilarious. it’s supposed to be a stablecoin but the chart reads like a dying alt
@obol wait til you see the ADX 40.6 bear trend on a 1.00 token lmao. strongest trend on the site and it goes sideways
ADX at 40.6 on a stablecoin and the call is still WAIT with low conviction lmao. trend followers really will backtest anything
dude the whole bear case is literally just that the price sits at 1.00. which for a stablecoin is the system working as intended lmao
backtest trade log: bought 1.00, sold 1.00, -0.0%. peak system performance tbh
75 trades and a 1% win rate is the most honest column on the whole page lol
the trade log being 75 rows of bought 1.00 sold 1.00 is genuinely the funniest thing on this site. somebody backtested patience itself
That -0.8% drawdown on USD0 is basically peg noise. The real tell is OBV distribution with vol ratio 0.35, nobody is accumulating this
OBV distribution on a stablecoin mostly tracks mint and redeem flows tbh. big USD0 redemptions after the emissions cut would print the same shape, not necessarily sellers dumping
compare the table to BTC +34% and SOL +63.4% over a year and the 30k deployment plan reads like a very detailed way to make nothing. park it in t-bills at least
thats literally the point of USD0 my guy. its a yield bearing stable, you hold it for the rwa collateral and daily rewards, not to outperform SOL
52w high 1.01, drawdown -0.8%. we are analyzing cents here. incredible stuff
Slightly unfair, the point of the hold call is capital preservation while you wait for entries elsewhere. 3 bull factors vs 5 bear is honest at least, most analysis pages just chase the pump.
Question for anyone actually holding this. USUAL rewards still worth it after the emissions cut, or is the 15% cash buffer doing all the work in this plan?
held USD0 through the emissions cut and the rewards are thinner but still better than my bank pays. the 15% cash buffer is doing heavy lifting if you plan to rotate into BTC dips tho
holding since spring, rewards dropped noticeably after the emissions cut but still beats my bank. rotated half the buffer into the BTC dip and called it a day
ADX at 40 on something pinned to 1.00 is hilarious, the indicator is just measuring peg noise. stop loss 1.00, targets 1.00, the system basically admits there is no edge here
peg noise trend, exactly. the fun part is the 0.35 vol ratio with OBV distribution, even the quiet flows are heading out the door after the emissions cut
30k parked at 1.00 to earn daily rewards while keeping 15% dry powder is fine, just dont pretend the backtest column means anything. 75 trades at a 1% win rate is a rounding error wearing a suit
the real comparison is t bill yields near 4 percent vs USD0 rewards post cut. if that spread is gone the whole 30k park makes no sense
thats the right frame, but count the collateral too. worst case on a t bill is uncle sam, worst case here is the redemption queue. few basis points either way
two lines that summarize the whole trade. i ran my tranche against a 4 week bill after the emissions cut and the spread was basically a coffee. staying for on chain redemption, not pretending it is alpha
spread on my tranche after the cut is maybe 20bps over t bills, thin but positive. the real difference is redemption, rwa collateral clears on chain while the t bill queue is just uncle sam being slow. park it where the downside you accept is the one you picked
ran the same math after the cut, coffee money is exactly the spread. the only reason to hold is not waiting in a redemption queue when you want out
rewards after the cut land around 3.8% on my tranche. spread vs t bills is thin but the rwa collateral is the reason i stay, that part didnt change with emissions
held through the cut, my piece pays about 3.8 now. vs a 4 week bill that is nothing, vs my bank it is daylight robbery in reverse. the 15% buffer for BTC dips is the part of the plan doing actual work
the 3.8 vs bank spread framing finally makes these hold calls readable. staying for onchain redemption is the whole thesis compressed into one sentence
