Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

bought at 8 bucks in the hype cycle and this thing just keeps bleeding. -84% from the high and the system still says SELL lmao
same boat. held since the 2.34 print a year ago, down 30% while btc did +19.8%. watching that 1.60 support like a hawk
-84.7% off the 10.64 high and the system still labels it Stage 3 topping instead of a bottom. anyone who held the hub thesis since 2021 is in hospice care at this point
the backtest table is the honest part. buy 1.77, sell 1.70, buy 1.74, sell 1.71. with ADX at 13.5 there is no trend to follow, the crossover just gets chopped to death
the trade log being pure chop is the system telling you ADX 13.5 means stand aside. four round trips to lose 4 cents total, thats commission food
hospice care is tragically accurate lol. bought the hub thesis at 9 bucks and now im just hodling the bag as a reminder of what narrative premium costs. 1.60 holds or this gets another leg down
Respecting the system here. ADX at 13.5 means no trend strength, RSI 40.7 is neutral, and price sits under both the 50d at 1.74 and the 200d. Nothing to do but wait.
counterpoint: the recent trades show SELL 1.70 then BUY 1.74, getting chopped both ways. with ADX that low the signals are basically noise rn
the noise read is correct imo. ADX 13.5 with price wedged between 1.60 support and the 50d at 1.74, thats maybe 8 cents of range. no trend system survives that, just fees
chop proof right there in the log lol. signals below ADX 20 should just auto print go fishing and save everyone the fees
support sits at 1.60 and price is 1.62, so one red candle and this SELL call looks smart. but RSI 40.7 is hardly panic selling, feels more like drift
