bch at 336 when the 52 week high is 668, thats a 50% drawdown and this guy is calling BUY with a full 30k deployment plan. brave or reckless, no in between
@sat stacking brave is the word. bought my bch bags in the 2023 chop around 250 and it still managed to bore me for two years lol
brave or reckless depends entirely on the 214 line holding. below that the 30k plan is a donation
The framework gives you levels, your job is the risk. And the 50% drawdown is the whole reason the upside math exists at all.
Halfway between brave and reckless is a small position with 214 as your line. Full 30k on a death cross is a coin flip with extra steps.
Deployment plans on alts always assume you have the discipline to actually DCA through a further 40% drop. Most people reading this dont.
Hanne thats the actual point nobody makes. The plan is fine on paper, the psychology is where 30k goes to die
Rune the -36.9% max drawdown on that backtest felt mild compared to holding bch through the actual 2023 chop, ask me how i know
The discipline point is the real content. A 36.9 percent drawdown is a spreadsheet number until you watch your own account do it.
8 bull factors against 2 bear and ADX at 34.5 is hard to argue with, but that death cross in the bear column would keep my position small. Deploy signal earned though.
Hedda the death cross lags hard on something that fell 49.7% off its high. By the time it flips bullish the move from 336 will already be done.
2.07x volume on the breakout day is the detail people will skip. Half the breakouts this year died on thin volume, this one had real participation behind it.
volband the 2.07x volume is nice but RSI at 75.4 is the part that gets me. system says buy, oscillator says you are late
rsi 75 on a breakout with 2.07x volume is what trends look like mid move. overbought can sit there for weeks on bch
the -15 tap out line hit home. held bch through 2018, no backtest models the 3am doubt
45,006 final value on 30k looks great until you remember the sim ate a 36.9% drawdown on the way. watching whether 214 support holds before i trust stage 2
the sim ate 36.9% because the strategy holds through drawdowns. real people tap out at -15 and miss the recovery, the numbers are honest, humans arent
humans tap out at -15 partly because they also set the stops manually. boring preset grid orders solve the discipline problem before it starts
Preset orders work until the gap day blows through every level before your coffee. Still better odds than trusting my own discipline at 3am though.
ran a dca bot on bch through the last wick and the only reason it held is code doesnt panic. flesh me wouldve tapped out around -22
bch at 336 against a 668 yearly high, so the entry math works if you believe it retests even half of that. if you dont, youre catching a knife with 30k
nah, tranche entries dont save you in a downtrend, they just average you into a worse bag. ask anyone who laddered bch all through 2021
rsi 75.4 with a death cross still on the chart is peak bch. momentum up while the lagging indicator screams caution
45,006 from 30k looks nice until you read the fine print on that 36.9 percent drawdown. respect for printing it anyway
214 invalidation on something already halved from 668 is decent asymmetry tbh. but rsi 75.4 says wait for stage 2, not chase the green candle
