called hold on DASH for two years now. -69% drawdown and RSI at 37.9, yeah no edge here lmao
The backtest is interesting but a -61% max drawdown on the strategy itself tells you everything. You would need serious conviction to sit through that for +15.9%.
buy and hold did +92.5% over the same window and the system only caught 15.9? the filter is leaving all the upside on the table
tbf that is the deal with every trend filter, you pay for the smaller drawdown with missed upside. still doesnt make a 38% win rate easy to sit through
support at 45.95 is basically the current price. one red candle and this flips to sell, feels more like a coin flip than stage 1 bottoming tbh
Backtest did +15.9% while buy and hold did +92.5% and you still call it HOLD with 38% win rate. the system is basically paying you to sit still
the trade log tells the story though, that Sept 7 buy at 62.95 into a -19.8% dump. system chased the top exactly like a human would
69% drawdown from 148.98 and people are debating a 3k position. the stop at 39.61 gets hit on any normal Dash week imo
a 39.61 stop while price sits right on the 45.95 support is basically a 14% air pocket. one normal Dash wick and you are out at the exact lows
+37.3% over 6 months while ETH did +40%. not exactly a convincing alt hold
12k on a system that caught 15.9% while plain holding did 92.5%. the only bullish line in the whole piece is RSI 37.9 and even that is a stretch
