0.98 with a 52w high of 11.60. down 91.5% and the verdict is HOLD? at some point holding is just bag holding with extra steps
the hold is relative though. system lost 38.7% while buy and hold from 11.60 lost 75.7%. at 0.98 holding with a stop beats holding on faith
the hold is relative though. system lost 38.7% while buy and hold from 11.60 lost 75.7%. at 0.98 holding with a stop beats holding on faith
bag holding since 21 as well but 0.98 against a 1.09 200d is barely 12 percent away. one decent month flips the whole chart structure. cope maybe, still holding
one decent month also needs a weekly close above 1.09 first. i hold too but lets not skip steps
down 91.5% and still holding says more about us than about the verdict lol. at least the system draws a line in the sand, my cost basis is basically a museum piece at this point
bag holding with a stop is at least bag holding with an exit. 1.09 is the line, below it the system walks so you dont have to
difference is the system has a line at 1.09 and you dont. holding with a defined exit is not the same as holding on hope
The 2-year backtest losing 38.7% while buy and hold lost 75.7% is actually the most honest part of this whole analysis. The strategy did its job.
Interesting that DCA with 12 buys only lost 30.9% vs lump sum down 54.1%. Chop just destroys lump sums on coins like DOT.
45% win rate across 49 trades and they still call it low conviction, at least the engine admits it lol. rsi 52.8 aint exactly screaming anything either
45% win rate with proper risk reward is literally profitable, win rate alone tells you nothing. trashtendies been watching too many trading gurus
45 percent at the stated risk reward clears breakeven with room to spare, trashtendies is arguing vibes. the 1.09 200d decides everything anyway, rsi 52.8 is decoration
45 percent at the stated risk reward clears breakeven with room to spare, trashtendies is arguing vibes. the 1.09 200d decides everything anyway, rsi 52.8 is decoration
45 percent is normal for trend systems, winners run and losers get cut fast. the low conviction tag is about the chart, not the stats.
rsi 52.8 is dead center of nothing. the 1.09 200d is the real line here, everything else is noise until DOT closes above it
backtest turns 35k into 21k and the verdict is still HOLD lol. brutal honesty at least
someone finally read past the verdict. 49 trades, 45% win rate, honestly the numbers scream survive more than hold
-38.7% is with a -50% max drawdown managed by the system though. buy and hold from 11.60 would be down way more, relative outperformance is the only win available here
21k from 35k hurts to read but buy and hold from 11.60 would have left you with like 3k. relative damage control is the only game left for DOT bags
survived is the whole strategy at these levels tbh. system lost 38.7 vs 75.7 for buy and hold, ill take the smaller scar
0.98 sitting under 1.09 on the 200d with resistance at 1.28. breakout or nothing for me
stage 3 topping at 0.98 with resistance at 1.28 feels generous. the low conviction label is honestly the most useful line in the whole writeup imo
low conviction being the most useful line in the writeup is such a burn on the whole genre lol. give me the 1.09 200d test over any of these verdicts
generous is one word for it. stage 3 labeling with a 91.5% drawdown already priced in is basically describing where the floor might sit. 1.28 resistance is the whole trade
49 trades over two years is barely one a fortnight and people act like its overtrading lol. the real shrug here is resistance at 1.28 sitting 30% away
rsi 52.8 mid range after months of sideways is about as neutral as it gets. first weekly close above the 1.09 200d and i start paying attention again, until then its a coin flip
1.09 weekly close or nothing, agreed. everything under it is just bag psychology with a chart attached
0.98 under a 1.09 200d with 1.28 resistance above. the chart is a staircase, question is whether DOT climbs any step of it
