35k GHO mint? that’s a massive supply shock, expect price to tank hard
35k GHO mint is a massive supply shock, expect price to tank hard
True, the 1.21 cap looks weak, could dip under 1.1 if mint hits hard
mint pressure sure but its a stablecoin, the actual risk is the peg breaking, not a tank. different trade entirely
SELL on something pinned at 1.00 is a weird headline until you see the 1.21 wick. If it drifts under 1.1 the peg math stops mattering anyway
the 1.21 wick is doing all the heavy lifting on this SELL call. if GHO trades 0.995 to 1.005 for a month the peg risk never shows and the call is just early. the mint queue is the tell worth watching
a sell rating on a stablecoin with 0.17% daily atr is comedy. just hold dollars and skip the analysis
peg products do drift though. USDC printed 0.88 in march 2023, just holding dollars had a bad weekend too
8 bear factors on something designed to sit at 1.00. the 1.21 wick last year was mint arbitrage, not a market, the whole report is noise
