the +241% makes way more sense when you look at where perp dex volume actually went this quarter, LIT is one of the few fee printing ones
Interesting that the only bear factors are negative MACD and OBV distribution while price sits above both moving averages. That combination usually resolves with the trend, not against it.
The backtest only took 4 trades in 2 years and still returned 98.9%. Fewer trades is exactly how you survive a mover like this.
Four trades in two years is also zero statistical significance. One bad fill on trade five and that 98.9% number evaporates.
Four trades also means the system sat flat most of two years. The 98.9% is mostly patience, the signal had four chances to matter.
sitting flat for two years on four signals is the actual pitch. most of the damage comes from forcing trade five
+241% in 6 months and still a BUY. i want to believe but distribution at 4.35 smells like exit liquidity territory
the exit liquidity take would land better if the fees werent real. LIT actually books revenue every quarter, thats the difference
fees printing is the difference between this and the 2021 dex token graveyard. distribution reads very different when revenue backs the bid
revenue backed the bid until it doesnt, dydx grant era says hi. still, four signals in two years with real fee income is the most honest dex token pitch on this site
the dydx grant era comparison is exactly right. revenue backed dex tokens stop being backed the moment the incentives do, LIT is not special
3.52 support or nothing for me
3.52 might never come back tbh, price gapped off that level weeks ago and hasnt looked down since
half position at market, half resting at 3.52 if the gap ever fills. arguing all or nothing on a +241% runner is how you end up with zero exposure
half at market half resting at 3.52 is the reasonable play but after a gap that level only fills on bad news. limit orders below price are hope with extra steps
limits below price on a gapped runner are hope, agreed. better question is whether 4.35 holds without the fee narrative doing the work
4.35 already held through two fee-drop headlines so the bid looks real tbh. but if one revenue print misses, the whole fee narrative thesis is just a slow rug with extra steps
+241% in six months backed by real perp dex fees is different from the usual runner. the 3.52 gap fill crew might just stay outside
