  1. -87% from the 11.62 high and the system still says HOLD with 4 bull factors. thats not conviction, thats a shrug in a spreadsheet

    1. ^ i mean the rules are the rules. price is above the 50d at 1.40, RSI 55.7, trend systems arent supposed to have feelings

    2. An 87% drawdown with the system still printing 4 bull factors tells me the factor weights are broken, not that the coin is fine.

      1. the factors didnt break, the asset did. RENDER is down 87% from 11.62 because the AI render demand story cooled off. no factor weight survives a narrative dying

        1. the ai render story cooled but node capacity still gets rented. chart front ran a demand drop that never fully showed up in network usage numbers

      2. the factors track momentum and RENDER just has none left. 1.48 against a 52w high of 11.62, the system is describing a coin on life support

        1. life support is dramatic for a network still paying node operators. the chart prices a demand apocalypse the usage reports never showed, one of the two is simply wrong

    3. trend systems dont do conviction, they do rules. but five straight losers since april does say the parameters were tuned for a market that stopped existing

      1. or the params are fine and six losers is just what trend following costs inside an 87 percent drawdown. either way the 1.64 flip decides it, no need to pick a side yet

  2. stop at 1.33 for a -9.9% loss but targets at 2.00? backtest log shows five straight losers since april. the tranche idea is fine but i would wait for the 200d at 1.64 to flip first

    1. waiting for the 200d at 1.64 to flip sounds safe but by then the move from 1.48 is already gone. trend systems always make you buy high and sell lower, thats the deal

      1. buying the 1.64 200d flip isnt about catching the bottom, its about not eating a sixth straight loser like the backtest shows since april

      2. That is the tax you pay for only taking confirmed trends. Id still trust the five losers over that one lucky +11.9% lump sum row in the backtest table

    2. waiting for the 1.64 flip means paying 10 percent off the bottom for certainty. after six straight losers since april that trade looks smart honestly

  3. lump sum at +11.9% while every DCA variant bleeds red is the funniest table on this site today. timing is everything i guess

    1. lump sum won because it happened to catch the april local low. run that table a hundred times and DCA eats it half the time

  4. network usage holding while price bleeds 87 percent is the actual divergence here. whichever side of that resolves first takes the 1.64 flip with it

    1. whats your source for node usage, last rental report i saw had capacity requests down 30 percent qoq. genuine ask, trying to figure out which side of the divergence is cope

      1. on node usage, the burned render reports still show octane credits consumed roughly flat through q2. usage diverged from token price months ago, the chart is the laggard

        1. octane credits flat while price bleeds 87 is either the market front running a demand collapse or bagholders coping with a lagging metric. no in between, and i hold some sadly

  5. RENDER at 1.48 against a 52w high of 11.62 and the verdict is WAIT. the real broken thing is the ai gpu demand narrative, the chart is just the receipt

  6. six straight losers since april and people still debate the 10 percent certainty premium. the whole system exists for traders who would otherwise average down at 1.20

  7. entry 1.48 with a stop at 1.33 is a 10 percent risk slice on a coin that fell 87 percent. the rules are fine, position sizing is where retail blows this up
