RSI at 71 already and the plan says deploy 25% here? 2x volume on an up day sure, but that entry is chasing. Waiting for a pullback toward 0.08.
The plan literally says deploy in 2 tranches with a 25% cash buffer though. Half now, half on a dip is not exactly chasing.
good luck getting filled at 0.08 on something printing all time highs tbh. youll be chasing 0.12 when you finally give in
the 0.12 prediction aged 3 hours and already sounds right. this tape does not do pullbacks
the 0.12 call keeps being right on assets like this but sizing matters, half now half on the wick costs a few percent of upside and saves you from the one real flush
split my entry the same way owen describes, second tranche filled 4% cheaper on a btc wick. costs almost nothing and you sleep fine
waiting for 0.08 on all time highs is how you end up buying 0.13 in december. half now half on a wick is the compromise
youll be waiting a while, skY hasnt touched 0.08 since it left base. maybe a wick if BTC coughs but thats it
waiting for 0.08 while 2x volume prints new highs is the oldest trade in the book. half now half on the wick like Inge said, at least you get an average
0% drawdown because price IS the 52w high at 0.09. rsi 71 and still chasing tho, brave
RSI 71 with ADX at 27 is fine in a strong trend. This is exactly how uptrends run for months.
The DCA table is the real story here. 12 buys over a year turned 12k into 17,321 while lump sum only got 13,439. Choppy grind up favors patience.
Agreed on the DCA row, though 12,321 turning into 17,321 assumes zero fees across 12 entries. Real figure is closer to 16.8k.
even at 16.8k the DCA row still clears lump sum by 3k. fees are real but they dont flip the conclusion
16.8k vs 17.3k and the DCA row still beats lump sum by 3k. the fee point is correct but the conclusion survives it
even the fee adjusted 16.8k beats the 13.4k lump sum by miles. the fee nitpick somehow made the DCA case stronger
Backtest win rate was 46% with a -23.9% max drawdown though. DCA works until the trend breaks and you are holding at the 0.06 support line.
46% win rate with that end return just means the winners ran way bigger than the losers. id take that hit rate with 2x reward any day, the drawdown is the entry fee
the 2x reward framing is doing some heavy lifting but its fair, winners ran while losers got cut at that drawdown figure. most people just cant execute it
the 46% hit rate is only tradeable because losers got cut fast at that drawdown line. most people read -23.9 and paper hand the whole plan instead
that -23.9% drawdown was on the old backtest window when skY was chopping over the 0.06 base. volume doubled since, different tape entirely
2x volume on a fresh high is the detail most skip. 60% on the year doesnt happen on thin books, somethings actually bidding skY
11 bull factors and 0 bear, the engine really said all clear lol. skY up 60% on the year and obv still climbing, only apeing what i can lose on this one
46 percent win rate with a 2x reward profile and people still call it chasing. the -23.9 drawdown row is the only honest number on the page
stage 2 uptrend, 11 bull factors, and the comments are still arguing about entry points lol. the engine did its job, the boring deployment plan is the part that works
