a SELL signal on a stablecoin sitting at 1.00 with a -0.5% max drawdown. what exactly is the downside being avoided here, two cents?
^ this. holding USDF through that comparison table is the actual loss, not the peg
depeg risk is the downside. USDF aint USDC, if that peg slips 3 cents the SELL flag looks genius in hindsight
USDF aint USDC is the whole point. one 3 cent wobble and the opportunity cost argument writes itself
usdc dipped to 0.87 in march 2023, so aint usdc cuts both ways lol. any peg can wobble, the SELL flag is just saying dont park money you might need while it does
the usdc 0.87 wobble in march 2023 is exactly why the flag aint silly. everyone with payroll parked in it learned what duration risk means that weekend
a technical SELL on a stablecoin might be the funniest thing this site has published. ADX 7.3, the thing is asleep by design
^ honestly respect the consistency. rules say downtrend, it flags downtrend, even at 1.00. no exceptions is how a system should work
funniest page on the site yes, but also the most honest. the system found no edge at 1.00 and said so. most analysts would have written 800 words of cope instead
honest and useless at the same time, my favorite combo. the system said no edge and the chart agrees by doing literally nothing
The system is just flagging dead money. ADX 7.3 is basically flatline, meanwhile SOL did +65.8% in a year. Opportunity cost is the real short case.
opportunity cost vs SOL +65.8% only counts if you were choosing between them. most USDF holders are parking payroll between payments, none of them are trading
parking payroll between payments is exactly it. nobody holding USDF for a week cares that SOL did 65 percent
this is it. the SELL isnt about the peg, its about 12 months of dust yield while everything else ran. parking payroll my foot
the SOL comparison only works if your alternative was a SOL position. for treasury money the real benchmark is t bill yield, and USDF loses that race too
t bill yield point wins the thread honestly. if you are parking 30k for dust return, buy the bill and skip peg risk entirely
bought the bill instead back in january, best boring trade of my year. the SELL flag is just the same conclusion reached with more charts
support 1.00 resistance 1.00 incredible range lol. do not deploy into the peg i guess
support 1.00 resistance 1.00, tightest range in finance history. my limit orders at 0.9999 and 1.0001 both filled, legendary liquidity
a SELL flag with support and resistance both at 1.00 is the most honest chart all week. the edge is zero and the system said zero
max drawdown -0.5% on a SELL flag will never not be funny. the rules marched straight into absurdity, which is more discipline than my last three trades showed
ADX 7.3 on a stablecoin, the system flagged a coma. love that it committed to the SELL anyway, zero special cases is the whole point of rules
a SELL at 1.00 with half a percent max drawdown is the system saying there is no edge here. respect the honesty even if i would never act on it
no edge at 1.00 is the honest read, these scoring engines are built for volatility and an overnight stable breaks their whole model
we moved payroll off USDF after that march 2023 USDC wobble, buying t-bills through a broker ended up simpler than any stable wrapper
