Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

9 bull factors vs 1 bear and the one bear is just far below high. feels like the system is politely ignoring the -60.9% drawdown lol
the drawdown stat is measured against 294 though, that high was the blowoff top. different regime entirely
different regime yes, but 294 taught sol holders what a real drawdown feels like. position sizing matters more than any entry card
tbf the lone bear being far from ath is a weak bear. id rather see funding rates or oi spikes as the bear factor, those actually kill moves
funding and oi as the bear check would make these cards way more useful. far from high tells you nothing a two second glance at the chart doesnt
exactly. funding would also tell you if the 115 push is spot driven or perp tourists. a 47.7 percent 3m move on 1.44x volume smells like leverage
the backtest literally prints -42.7% max drawdown two sections down, the card is not hiding anything. 58 trades at 47% win rate is the honest part most analysis pages skip
Fair, but the -60.9% is measured against the 294 blowoff. From the actual base this looks more like trend confirmation than a warning.
Golden cross with price at 115 against a 50d of 94.90 is a wide spread. I would wait for a pullback toward support before adding anything here.
support at 95.23 is a 17% drop, good luck getting filled there without a news candle
waiting for 95 means waiting for a 17% dip in the strongest trend asset of the quarter. 115 held three retests already, laddering beats waiting
three retests held at 115, waiting for 95 is just hoping. laddered my first tranche today finally
hope you sized tranche one small, stop sits at 102.99 and that 95.23 support is the real line in the sand. good entry either way
waiting for 95 means catching a 17 percent air pocket if it ever gets there. half size here, half at support is the less painful split imo
RSI 64 with ADX 44.6, trend traders eat good here. still salty i ignored the 60 low
or it fills on one macro candle, thats how support tests work in this regime. ladder the bids at 95 and forget the chart for a day
adx 44 is nice but rsi 64 means the easy entry already left. chasing a 21% spread over the 50d is how you become the pullback liquidity
21 percent over the 50d is stretched but sol trends harder than almost anything. laddering instead of a full entry splits the difference fine
rsi 64 with adx 44 was basically the same read at the 60 low leg. trend strength like that punishes anyone holding out for a clean 95 retest, splitting entries is the only sane play
first clean buy signal on sol in months and its finally not into resistance. 95.23 support gives a real invalidation level too, thats rare for these writeups
an actual invalidation level on a sol card is rare enough to screenshot lol. most of these writeups just say BUY and wish you luck
lump sum from 1y ago = 6,521 vs 12-buys DCA = 13,519. that gap alone should end every timing debate on this thread
47.7% in three months and the card still wants staged entries at 115. discipline is the only edge left once everything trends this hard
47.7% in a quarter and the card still gives you a 95.23 invalidation instead of vibes. whoever writes these is allergic to hype
Backtest at -2.3 percent against -5.3 for buy and hold over 58 trades means the edge is thin on SOL. The DCA table at +12.7 percent is the more actionable part of this report.
