Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

0.95 has been the line since the 64% drawdown started. if it breaks, next real support is way lower and ADX 14 means nobody is even fighting for it yet
backtest did +32% with a 65% win rate on 20 trades and the call is still WAIT. more discipline than me honestly
^ true but check the AVAX piece from today, same signals lost half. the edge is the asset not the crossover
DCA with 4 buys returned +19.4% while lump sum lost 5.7% over the same year. Entry timing on SUI mattered more than the token itself.
target 1 and target 2 both at 1.00, that is 5% upside against a 6.5% stop. odd plan for a HODLer profile
5% upside against a 6.5% stop and the verdict is still HOLD instead of trim. the math only works if 0.95 actually holds
5% upside against a 6.5% stop is a rough R:R until you remember 1.00 has rejected price twice before. thick wall at target 2
65% win rate on 20 trades and +32% in the sim. thats a real edge for a trend bot on an L1 that bled 64% off its high
20 trades is nothing statistically. give it 200 trades before you call that an edge
fair on sample size but the DCA stat below kinda backs the entry timing thesis. 200 trades is 2 years on this timeframe, nobody waits that long to size in
20 trades is thin, fair point, but at least the 65% lines up with the higher timeframe trend reads. the 0.95 line is the real sample size test
200 trades is fair but who has patience for that on a bot? most people bail after 3 red days
sitting right on 0.95 support with ADX at 14. coiled spring or slow bleed, no in between
the 0.95 hold is the whole thesis tbh. if ADX stays pinned at 14 another week i am sideeyeing that spring
