stop loss at 0.33 is 2.5% below entry on an asset doing 1.24% daily ATR. that stop gets wicked out in a single red candle, guaranteed
backtest says +41.8% and buy & hold still beat it at +43.6%. the trend system is literally worse than doing nothing on TRX lol
yet max drawdown was only -11.5% vs holding through the full ride. thats the actual selling point here
that 43.6 buy and hold number includes eating the full 22.8 drawdown tho. system version maxed at -11.5. doing nothing only wins on the happy path
fair on the sample size but the golden cross plus TRX +18 pct ytd while SOL sits at -15 does most of the work. waiting for 0.36 is just paying for confirmation
gridmapper_ and the kicker is the +41.8% still counts 55 losing rotations. buy and hold won by doing nothing and it charged you 0 fees for the lesson
anyone else notice target 1 and target 2 both show 0.00 (-100%)? pretty sure thats a template bug, wouldnt copy those numbers into an order
third article this week with 0.00 targets, the coin engine is haunted. the math underneath checks out against my own levels at least
third one this week still printing 0.00. someone shipped the target field with a placeholder in it, the levels underneath being correct is pure luck
the 0.00 target field has survived three articles now, at this point its the longest running bug on the site. levels at 0.33 and 0.36 do line up with the chart tho
Petr O. noticed the 0.00 targets too. i assumed it was a formatting bug but honestly would not trust any order levels from that template until they fix it
targets showing 0.00 (-100%) on a BUY call, someone needs to fix the coin engine template lol. at least the stop at 0.33 sits right on support
stop only 2.5% below a 0.34 entry, one wick through 0.33 and youre out. Aisha keeps plans tight but this is razor thin
^ exactly, 2.5 percent below entry on a coin with TRX liquidity is a stop hunt magnet. widen it or size down, those are the only two options
8 bull factors 0 bear, golden cross intact, +18% on the year while SOL sits at -15%. TRX is boring and boring is finally paying
boring is exactly why the tight stop works. 1.2 percent daily ATR on TRX is not the wick festival the stop critics are describing
Everyone is dunking on the 0.33 stop while ignoring the actual backtest stats. 38 trades, 47% win rate, max drawdown -11.5%. That system bleeds small and wins big, tight stops are the feature not a bug
bleeds small and wins big at 47 percent win rate is the honest pitch, more desks should print it that way. just size the 0.33 stop for a retest, thats all
carl out here defending -11.5 percent drawdown like its a feature lol. the 0.33 stop will get wicked on some asia session and the whole tight-stop argument evaporates
the asia wick point keeps getting made and ignored. TRX books get thin at 3am and they have a habit of finding every stop clustered at 0.33, ask anyone who ran tight stops on this thing through 2024
learned this the hard way in march. stop at 0.33 clipped at 3:47am and TRX was back above entry by london open. asia hours respect nothing
38 trades is the entire sample people are trusting here. Flip a handful of those wins to losses and the 47 percent story falls apart. I like the golden cross setup on TRX but Im waiting for 0.36 to actually print first
10k portfolio series is cool but the real story is -11.5 max drawdown for the system vs -22.8 for buy and hold on TRX. same direction, half the pain
everyone fighting about the 0.33 stop meanwhile TRX quietly outperformed SOL by 30 points this year. boring coin, boring profits, ill take it
30 points over SOL and zero narratives needed, thats the whole TRX case. boring coin boring profits still prints
