sold half my XAUT around 5200 and thought i was early, now a full sell call at 4275. timing on these analysis pieces is always something lol
Down almost 24% from the 5597 high and the call is still SELL? Feels like distributing to whoever actually bought the dip under 4300.
the plan literally staggers the 35k deployment at lower levels, its a laddered exit not a panic button. reading is free
the ladder matters though, first tranches exit well above 4275. reading a staggered deployment as a full panic exit at spot misreads the whole structure
SELL on XAUT at 4275 after a 23.6% drawdown from 5597 feels like backing the truck up at the exact wrong exit. gold bugs do not fade like this
kinda agree, 35k portfolio flipping SELL on tokenized gold while central banks keep buying is a spicy take
The Oliver Schmidt analysis ignores that XAUT trades at a discount to spot during stress. Selling here means realizing that spread loss too.
yeah the spread point is underrated. last time xaut slipped 1.5% under spot and everyone panic sold the bottom lol
lived through that 1.5% discount scare. if you must sell XAUT, pick a day the spread is actually tight, the discount alone can eat half your edge on the exit
