Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

ADX 63.6 on XMR is nasty strong. been riding this leg since the 50d reclaim, trend following signal lines up with what the chart is doing
Still 32.5% below the 798 high and they call it a buy. I suppose that is the point of trend following, you never catch the bottom.
@Ingrid that is literally the whole model tho. stage 2 entry after confirmation, you pay for certainty not for the bottom
@Ingrid Ba fair, tho 539 after a 798 blowoff is textbook stage 1 base into stage 2. the model never promises the bottom, it promises the trend
Ingrid is right, stage 2 entries cost you the first 30%. thats the premium you pay for not catching knives on the way down from 798
RSI 66.7 with OBV rising and 1.56 volume ratio, that is accumulation not exit pump. deployed 3k of my own on this one
3k on OBV and volume ratio alone, respect. but RSI 66.7 means your entry is already mid range, one red week and that accumulation thesis gets tested hard
everyone screaming trend strength and nobody mentioning the MACD bearish cross listed right there in the cons. 15k deployed on eight green checkboxes, hope the stop loss is real
@dandelion_v4 MACD whipsaws you out constantly in stage 2 uptrends, it lags too hard. RSI holding 60 plus rising OBV is the stronger signal by far
@dandelion_v4 macd flipped bearish twice during the last XMR leg up and price just kept grinding. ADX 63.6 drowns out that signal in a stage 2
two bearish macd flips during an uptrend and people still treat it like gospel. obv plus the 1.56 volume ratio is carrying this whole analysis
the 1.56 volume ratio and obv doing all the work and the macd crowd still gets equal airtime lol. ADX 63.6 kinda ends the argument
ADX 63.6 ends the argument until it doesnt, that gauge lags hard at extremes. still long, just sizing like it can whipsaw
macd turning bearish while OBV rises is a divergence call, and divergence calls get steamrolled in stage 2. the 50d stop is the actual risk control in this plan
the stop lives under the 50d, that is the whole point of trend following. macd noise inside an ADX 63 regime is just whipsaw bait
15k on xmr while its still under 600 takes conviction but the privacy premium thesis is real. sizing in tranches beats lump sum anyway
conviction is fine, the risk is btc dragging everything down and xmr bleeding toward that 392 level. tranche 1 better be small
Deploying 15k with ADX at 63.6 is bold but the tranches save you if the 50d stop triggers. RSI 66.7 is the part that would make me wait for a pullback entry instead
539 against a 798 high and stage 2 still counts as early. it stays early right up until the privacy premium cools, then price audits the accumulation story
stage 2 stays early right up until the 50d breaks, thats the deal. 392 only happens if btc cracks and correlation drags xmr down with everything else
Been accumulating XMR since the delisting panic started. The deployment plan format is useful, though 15,000 EUR is a bigger commitment than most readers will stomach
15k sounds big until you notice it is split into tranches, first slice is maybe 2k. you can always stop if the 50d breaks, the plan literally builds that in
the tranche math is the whole point, first slice failing just means you saved the other 13k. people read 15k and skip the part where the 50d is the kill switch
the 50d kill switch is doing more risk management than most funds. first tranche fails and you still got 13k dry powder for the real bottom
everyone fighting over indicators while the tail emission squeeze does the quiet lifting. 539 back to 798 happens slow, then all at once
tail emission doing the quiet lifting is right. the supply story nobody prices until the privacy premium narrative needs fuel
privacy premium at 539 with ADX that hot, ill take the slow grind back toward 798 over chasing some l1 narrative any day
slow grind is the only way xmr ever moves tbh. one privacy headline in the wrong jurisdiction and that 798 gap closes way faster than ADX 63 suggests it should
