1.40 after a 3.65 high is rough. thats a 61% drawdown and the buy call still feels brave tbh
marcus reid deploying 30k into this, respect the conviction lol. im waiting for 1.30 personally
waiting for 1.30 is how you end up watching it leave without you lol. if the plan says 1.40 just scale in
scaling in fixes the 1.30 vs 1.40 debate entirely. half here, half on the retest, and the stop goes under 1.25
1.30 never fills if 1.40 was the low. scaling a third in now costs maybe 7 percent of upside, missing the whole move costs everything
the 7 percent premium is just tuition for not having to be right about the low. worth it every cycle imo
the 1.30 crew has been waiting since the bounce off 1.40 started. the entry already left the station
61% off the high is only brave if you think 3.65 was real price discovery. half that run was etf hype that never materialized
the case died and price survived it, thats the part the 3.65 crowd keeps skipping. 1.40 held with zero etf news attached
sure 1.40 held with no etf news, but that also means zero catalyst left on the calendar. what exactly pushes it toward 3.65 again, vibes?
1.40 held with the case dead AND zero etf news attached means the floor aint narrative driven anymore. catalysts are for alts that still need them
1.40 holding with zero etf news is fair, but the death cross sitting there at ADX 45.7 is the part id want answered before calling the floor narrative free
catalyst or not, ADX at 45.7 says the trend does the pushing. you dont need headlines when the trend pays for itself
got burned on xrp in the last run up to 3.65, sold way too early. not missing the next one
same energy as me holding since 2021, we suffer together
the etf hype that printed 3.65 never left the rumor stage, true, but 1.40 with the case fully dead is a different floor than 2021 was
30k into xrp at 1.40 while everyone else is crying about the drawdown. marcus reid either looks like a genius or a cautionary tale by december, no in between
by december we will know, thats the fun part. 30k at 1.40 with an actual stop beats my 2021 no-plan entry at least
cautionary tale by december is generous, the stop under 1.25 is way closer than the 3.65 dream. at least the risk is defined
Defined risk works until a weekend wick slices through 1.25 at 3am liquidity. Anyone who ran stops in May knows the gap does not care about your plan
the 3am wick through 1.25 is exactly why the stop is published as 1.25 and not 1.249. you size for the gap, tranche the rest, plan survives may conditions
defined risk 10 percent below entry against a target more than double from here is the only sane math in the whole plan tbh. the conviction is the decoration
30k of a 30k portfolio on one alt sitting 61 percent off the high is the real headline here. credit to Reid for at least publishing the 1.25 stop, most of these gurus hide it
8 bull factors vs 2 bear and the death cross still sitting there like an unpaid bill. marcus sending 30k at a 61 percent drawdown, respect the nerve
30k on one alt at a 61 percent drawdown and im the weird one for dollar costing into an index lol. respect the conviction marcus, ill watch from the sideline with my veta
