RSI 23.6 on BCAP while its sitting 2% under the 108 high? someone is unloading into that high and the tape agrees
^ and ADX 75.5 bear trend on top of it. weak RSI next to a near-high print is exactly what distribution looks like
4 bull vs 5 bear factors and Aisha still calls it WAIT instead of pretending certainty. respect, most of ct would have flipped to full doom posting
agreed on the WAIT respect, tho 4 bull vs 5 bear with price still near highs reads more like a pause than distribution to me
rsi at 23.6 while adx prints 75? strong trend and its still this oversold, that combo usually means chop not a clean break
adx 75 with rsi 23 reads like distribution into the 108 high but the count is 4 bull vs 5 bear. analysts want both answers so they print WAIT
4 bull 5 bear near highs with adx that strong, WAIT is honest. better than the analysts who flip bearish after the drop already happened
plotarmor, 4 bull vs 5 bear with adx 75 is not hedging, its an honest tie. i trust a WAIT call more than the fake conviction on ct
WAIT with adx 75 is just an analyst hedging the downside call. price 2 percent off the high, the tape resolves this one way or another within a week
fair, tho adx 75 with rsi 23 has resolved down more often than up historically. the tie count is honest, the setup itself leans bearish
if it resolves down more often than up, the honest print is a sell with a tight thesis. wait just keeps the author safe. rsi 23 at 2 percent off the 108 high usually means the drop already started
bcap sitting 2% under the 108 high with rsi at 23.6 is a weird one, holding through it but not adding
A 366% year and the suggested stop sits 0.4% below entry. You”’d get wicked out on spread alone before the thesis has a chance to play out.
this. backtest a stop 0.4% under entry on a name with a 366% year and it fires on basically any given tuesday. either widen it or size down
^ 0.18% daily ATR on a -0.4% stop is nuts, one slow day and youre out for basically noise
0.4 percent stop on a coin that did 366 percent in a year, the backtest author has never held thru a normal monday. size down and widen or dont bother
0.4 percent stop on 366 percent annual vol is a spreadsheet special. anyone actually trading it widens the stop or sizes so small it doesnt matter
tobias v is right, at 41 shares the 0.4 stop is a rounding error on a 4.4k position. the plan survives because the size is a joke, not because the stop is smart
at real size you widen the stop or get wicked instantly, and suddenly the whole risk reward table looks different. 41 shares flatters the plan
41 shares also means the 0.4 percent stop is unfillable, you would eat slippage wider than the stop on the exit. the plan only exists in the spreadsheet
41 shares caps the whole loss at like 18 bucks. the exit slippage lecture is right and completely pointless at the same time
18 bucks is exactly why it exists as a paper plan tho. nobody at 41 shares is moving the book either way, so printing WAIT with adx 75 costs the author nothing. the whole exercise is content
tobias your stop math is right but the plan says 4.4k position on 105 stock, thats like 41 shares lol. the tiny size IS the fix
tobias, 41 shares is the point tho, tiny size makes the silly stop survivable. still rather have a 2 percent stop and a third of the position
41 shares at 105 also means fees and spread eat more than any stop optimization saves. the plan is a thought experiment at that size
adx 75 with rsi that low so close to the 108 high reads like someone painting the tape into exit liquidity. wait is the only honest call
10k portfolio and the plan allocates 41 shares with a 0.4 percent stop, that is a rounding error against the 108 high. the only real signal on this chart is adx 75, the rest is decoration
