  1. xlm at 3.6 percent in 3 months is brutal but the sim starting buys right before consolidation is classic bad luck timing. rerun from march and the table looks different

  2. The ADX at 25.1 is barely into trend territory. I’d want to see it hold above 30 before calling this Stage 2 with high conviction.

      1. second leg has better r:r if the trend survives tho. entry at 0.19 with the 52w high at 0.63, you are paying for the drawdown either way

    1. Agree on the ADX. 25.1 barely clears the trend bar, id want to see 30 before anything gets a high conviction label. The sim drawdown says the same thing louder

      1. the ADX point is fair but 25.1 is rising off a base, direction of travel matters more than the absolute number. still not defending 15k in one shot tho

    1. A 41.6% max drawdown over 2 years is brutal, but it did beat holding. XLM fell 15% in that same window, the bar was on the floor.

    2. the sim going 15k to 11k and still printing DEPLOY is the most honest part of this whole page imo. most analysis pieces hide the drawdown table

      1. printing the table is honest but a -26.6 percent sim next to a HIGH conviction label is still a wild combo. the system needs a filter for its own drawdowns

        1. a drawdown filter would help but then you miss the recovery leg, which is where trend systems make the year. -26.6 is rent either way

      2. printing the drawdown table is the honest part, most analysis pages would crop that out. still not parking 15k on one macd cross

    3. 11,013 is the worst window starting right at entry tho. the table shows the recovery leg is where the year gets made, you just have to survive the rent

  3. +3.6% over 3 months while sol did 47.5% is rough, but ADX 25 with a fresh macd cross is the first decent setup xlm has had in a while

    1. comparing xlm to sol is a weird flex, totally different liquidity universe. 3.6% in 3 months is bad against anything with volume tho

  4. 0.19 against a 52w high of 0.63 and the comments are fighting about macd crosses lol. i just want to know if the 15k sim ever accounted for a 40% drawdown year

    1. it did, 41.6 percent max drawdown is literally row one of the table. whether the person clicking DEPLOY reads past row one is the actual risk

    2. the sim did account for it, 41.6 max drawdown is right there in the table. whether your stomach accounts for it is a different question

  5. 8 of 10 indicators green and the sim still dipped to 11k, the real lesson is the 15k number is too big for one signal. 5k across three entries would sleep way better

    1. splitting it 3 ways is the move, ran something similar on a different pair and the drawdown felt half as bad even if the math says otherwise. 5k chunks also let you bail on entry 2 if the trend dies

  6. 8 of 10 green and the sim still dipped to 11k, thats the part everyone skips. respect the honesty but im waiting for xlm to actually hold the entry zone before wiring anything
