Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

50d at 1.89 vs 200d at 1.88, that golden cross is basically a coin flip right now. One red week and it flips back. Small size only.
one red week flips it back, one green week extends it. at 1.89 vs 1.88 the cross tells you nothing, the 2.18 break tells you everything
Fair point but the recovery from 0.64 to 2.03 is not nothing. MACD minus is the one thing holding me back from adding here honestly.
a coin flip cross sitting 76% off the high, yeah small size is the only sane play. 1.86 support is the real line anyway
small size is correct. 8.49 down to 2.03 and we are trusting a coin flip cross, ill wait for 1.86 to get properly tested not just tapped
same on waiting for the 1.86 retest, but what gets me is 22.6% in 3 months with RSI still under 56. that move has not even leaned on momentum yet
22.6% in 3 months with RSI still under 56 is the quiet part. most runners this hot show 70 plus by now, BGB has room before it gets stupid
the 8.49 bagholders are the ones who dump on your 1.86 retest tho. every bounce off that level sells into three years of topbuyer PTSD
true, but three years of 8.49 bagholders also means the float above 2.18 keeps thinning with every bounce. if breakout volume finally shows up, the 1.86 entry with a stop under 1.80 is the cheap seat
the PTSD point is why the entries near 1.86 keep working actually. every scared seller into the retest is fuel for the next leg once the 8.49 crowd finally runs dry
coin flip is exactly right. i want the 50d to clear 1.89 by a real margin before trusting any cross on this pair
22.6% in 3 months with RSI still under 56, that is healthy price action. BGB quietly out here
quietly is the word. exchange tokens printing while everyone argues about ai coins lol
rsi 56 with a 76% drawdown behind it, sure, healthy. i ll feel better once 2.18 actually clears on real volume
support at 1.86 has been holding. entries near there with a stop under 1.80 make sense to me, add on the 2.18 break
agreed on entries near 1.86 with the stop under 1.80. tight enough to matter without getting wicked out, running the same plan
buying the 1.86 retest with a stop under 1.80 beats chasing 2.03 after the run it already had. disciplined plan
the part everyone skips is the burn math depends on volume staying up after 2.18 breaks. BGB at 2.03 is fine, the thesis lives or dies on breakout volume
40% win rate on the 2 year backtest and the strategy still beat buy and hold by 30 points. Trend following really is just loss management.
40% win rate beating buy and hold by 30 points says more about how bad holding was through the 8.49 slide to 2.03 than about the system itself imo
BGB at 2.03 against an 8.49 high and people call a 22 percent quarter a recovery. long way back, the burn needs a full volume cycle not one breakout
22% quarter off a 76% drawdown is base building before it is anything else. the burn needs a full volume cycle and BGB hasnt had one since the 8.49 top, patience is the position
one breakout is exactly how the last cycle started off 2 bucks tho. the 8.49 crowd sells the first retest, the second one becomes support, burn does the rest
second test becoming support is the whole game. first retest of 1.86 sold the topbuyer supply, the next one with volume is where the trade actually confirms
second retest becoming support is the pattern that pays on exchange tokens. problem is BGB gives you maybe two clean tests a year and most people sleep through both of them
each retest of 1.86 absorbs the weakest of the 8.49 crowd. the tap that survives with volume is the one worth buying, the one that gets wicked through means the topbuyer supply still owns the tape
