  1. the 50d and 200d finally stacking in the same direction after two years of fighting is the quiet headline in this plan

  2. BUY signal on something down 82% from the high, bold. the ADX 42 trend strength is real tho, that part of the system checks out

    1. you buy the strength, not the top. price above the 50d and 200d with OBV accumulating is the signal here, drawdown is just context

    2. adx 42 checks out but the shape of the first leg matters. 82 percent drawdowns dont v-recover, a slow grind to 12 suits the 15k plan way better than a squeeze

      1. slow grind thesis fits the obv climb too. nobody clocks accumulation until price has already left, the 12 target is a patience test more than a signal one

      2. slow grind fits the obv picture too. avax never v recovers from an 82 percent hole, it base builds and bores everyone out before the real leg

    3. 82 down from the high means the weak hands are long gone. adx 42 with obv climbing is about as clean a trend signal as avax ever gives

  3. 9.92 after trading 55 last year is wild. respecting the 15k deployment plan size tho, ladder it and dont full send into the MACD weakness

  4. a BUY signal from a strategy that lost 49% backtesting the same coin is wild. meanwhile DCA with 12 buys did +3.2%. just average in and ignore the signals maybe

    1. the backtest starts before the 5.69 bottom, that is why it looks that bad. the signal is for the recovery leg, price above both MAs with ADX at 42 is a different regime than the dump

    2. the +3.2% on 12 DCA buys is over a different window tho, the signal backtest covers the dump leg. not defending the BUY call, just saying the comparison is apples to oranges

    3. 49 percent backtest vs 3.2 percent dca is brutal but different regimes. the signal was calibrated for trend legs, the dump was chop. still capping it at a quarter of the book like kvantlars said

      1. regime argument cuts both ways tho. if the signal was calibrated for trend legs and we just had chop, whos to say the next leg isnt chop again. quarter size and watch is fair

      2. regime point is fair but unfalsifiable until the next leg plays out. quarter size and a diary entry, revisit at the 12 break

  5. target 1 at 12 with a stop at 8.60 is a 2.5 to 1 on the first leg. fine as long as the 50d around 8.90 holds, one daily close below and the whole plan is dead

  6. bought the pullback to the 50d around 8.90, stop at 8.60 is tight but sane. target 1 at 12 is basically the 11.98 resistance, nothing new here

  7. 82 percent drawdown from 55.70 and they cap the position at 25% of a 15k portfolio. at least the sizing is honest this time, that stop at 8.60 gets me out before it gets ugly

  8. quarter sizing on an 82% drawdown coin is the first sane thing ive seen in these analysis posts. still think the 12 target needs a second higher low first

  9. OBV accumulating while MACD is still negative is the oldest divergence setup there is. works until it doesnt, the 25% sizing is the only reason id even take it

  10. macd still negative is my holdup. obv says accumulation but the last few macd crossovers on avax were fakeouts, quarter size and wait for the 12 break

    1. macd fakeouts are basically an avax tradition at this point lol. obv divergence plus adx 42 is enough for a starter tranche, save the rest for the 12 breakout

  11. 49 percent backtest loss vs 3.2 percent dca and the verdict is still BUY at quarter size. the sizing is the real signal here, treat the rest as homework

    1. quarter size IS the conviction. anyone printing full size after a 49 percent backtest loss is telling you they never ran the backtest

  12. quarter size on a signal that lost 49 percent backtesting the same coin is the most honest part of this whole plan. the 8.60 stop does the rest
