Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

12k into CRO at 0.07 with resistance literally sitting at the current price feels aggressive. I would want a clean daily close above it before the second tranche. Support at 0.05 is the line that matters if this chops.
resistance at 0.07 while price IS 0.07 lol. either it breaks this week or you are bagholding down to 0.05. ADX 40 says the trend is real tho
price pinned AT resistance is actually the bull case. it hasnt rejected, its coiling. but agreed, no daily close above 0.07 means tranche two stays in the pocket
coiling under 0.07 for weeks while OBV climbs is textbook. first daily close above it and the crowd that remembers the 0.39 high comes back fast
8 bull factors but the death cross is still sitting on the bearish side, wild. ADX at 40 is legitimately strong tho, this trend has legs
1 year performance is -25.3% while BTC did +9.7% and the verdict is BUY. above the 200d sure, but that is a low bar after a year of bleeding
RSI at 61 with price above both the 50d and 200d is the first decent setup CRO has printed in months though. I put in a small amount, nothing crazy, waiting for the 0.07 flip
above the 200d after a year of bleeding IS the signal tho. you dont get pretty yearly numbers at the start of a trend, you get them at the end. RSI 61 leaves room to run
The backtest numbers are interesting but 48% win rate across 52 trades is basically a coin flip. The whole edge is in the exits, not the entries.
^ right, but 48% winrate with a 1.5 R:R still clears mathematically. the stop at 0.06 is doing all the work here
ATR is 5.76% a day, that 0.06 stop survives exactly one spicy candle. i would halve the tranches and keep the rest for a retest of 0.05
halving the tranches with a 0.06 stop against 5.76% daily ATR is just correct math. most people size for the target and forget the stop dies inside one candle
halving tranches AND waiting for the 0.05 retest is the same trade twice. pick one. the 1.94 volume ratio says accumulation is real even if the next candle hurts
actually fair, i was doing both and calling it risk management. picked the retest limit order, canceled the second tranche
same, took the retest order and slept better. 0.05 tag with the 200d still rising is a gift if it comes
target 1: 0.00 (-100% return) lmao the template glitched and i still kinda respect it. degenerately bullish even when broken
a -100% price target and the verdict is still BUY, peak template energy lol. meanwhile OBV accumulation and a 1.94 volume ratio are the only things keeping me interested here
or its profit taking right at the 0.07 line after the run into it. 1.94 volume on up days against 1.28 down reads more like resistance churn than distribution to me
a -100 percent price target printed to the page and the verdict still deployed capital. whoever renders these tables needs a unit test lol
hard part for me is the vol ratio 1.28x on a down day. trend signal says BUY but someone is selling size into this, and after an 82% drawdown from 0.39 the scarring is real
1.28 down-day ratio near a 0.07 wall is mostly resting sellers, not size exiting. watch it flip after the first daily close above
resting sellers into a coiling range is literally what supply looks like before it gets absorbed. first close above 0.07 and those asks get pulled
48 percent winrate only works because the R:R is 1.5. that stop at 0.06 survives one ATR candle max, sizing half like the article says is not optional here
12k against a 5.76 percent daily ATR is a 700 dollar swing on a boring tuesday. fine trade, uncomfortable sizing
82 percent drawdown from 0.39 and the argument is entry timing. the 200d reclaim is the first structural thing this chart has done all year, size small and let it work
