Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

deploy signal on something 87.9% off the high takes guts. but ADX 48 with OBV climbing, yeah i see the logic
^ the 1.68 volume ratio is what does it for me. someone is actually accumulating at 0.16, not just drifting
adx 48 with OBV climbing is one thing but deploying 30k on an 87.9% drawdown takes actual conviction. respect it, laddering my own entries tho
golden cross, RSI 64, OBV accumulation, and still 88% below the 52w high of 1.33. if it reclaims even half that range this entry looks silly cheap
careful, far below high is a bear factor for a reason. MACD just printed a bear cross too, and 0.16 entry with a 0.13 stop is a tight rope
the 0.13 stop is basically two bad funding candles away tbh. but if ADX 48 holds the trend does the heavy lifting, the stop just keeps you honest
reclaiming half the range to 1.33 is doing a lot of work in that sentence. 0.16 to 0.66 needs the entire market cooperating, not just ENA
88 percent below 1.33 and reclaiming even half is a 4x, sure. the same math worked against everyone who bought the 1.00 bounce
the downside math nobody runs: another 87% from 0.16 lands near half a cent. asymmetry arguments after a full drawdown always sound smarter than they trade.
MACD bear cross right after a golden cross and it still gets HIGH conviction? trend systems gonna trend i guess
the conviction comes from ADX and OBV, MACD is weighted near zero in trend systems. a bear cross right after a golden cross is exactly when they whipsaw
trend systems flip signals constantly, thats the deal. ADX 48 says the trend is real, a MACD cross is noise at that strength
DCA at -2.6% vs lump sum -23.7% over the same year tells you everything about this token. 15% position size with a hard stop is the only sane way to touch ENA
the -2.6 vs -23.7 DCA gap is exactly why im splitting my entry in 3 tranches. that 0.13 stop looks tight until you remember how fast ENA moves on funding flips
three tranches of 10k on a stop 3 cents below entry means one wick ends the whole thesis. split smaller or widen it, pick one
three tranches sharing one 0.13 stop is the design flaw. stagger the stops with the entries and the plan survives first contact with a wick
staggered stops also free up cash to re-enter lower instead of watching the whole 30k evaporate on one candle. a single stop at 0.13 is binary, thesis or no thesis.
Golden cross on ENA after months of nothing is interesting, but 88% below the 1.33 high also means the seller supply overhead is massive. First real resistance will tell us if the BUY signal has legs.
first resistance is the area where the august breakdown started. that is the real test for the BUY call, everything below it is noise
the august breakdown zone is the whole trade. first tranche only makes sense if 0.16 holds it on a retest, otherwise you are just early
the august breakdown zone is also what the 0.16 entry sits under. agreed thats the whole test, everything else is tranche scheduling
ADX 48 on a coin 88 percent off the high usually means the bounce is late, not early. the DCA gap says the same, the average bag is down 23 percent
the -2.6 DCA average backs you up imo. everyone bag holding from higher is waiting to sell into this bounce, so im skipping tranche two until 0.16 survives a retest
i keep rereading the deployment plan. 30k into something 88% off the high, ok, but one weekend wick to 0.13 and the whole thing resets. tranches or nothing
one wick to 0.13 and the whole 30k plan is stopped before the thesis even gets tested. wider stop or smaller size, pick one
MACD bear cross inside an 8/2 BUY is the tell. the trend engine sees momentum cracking but conviction is HIGH anyway, that label is doing marketing work.
