Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

An 81.7 percent drawdown and they still print HOLD with a 25 percent allocation. The FPI volume thesis is carrying the entire call
strategy backtest lost 31% and the verdict is still HOLD? wild. at least the DCA math checks out, 12 buys at -25% beats my lump sum entry near 0.03 which is down way worse lol
^ also 40% win rate across 50 trades. the whole system is a coin flip with extra steps, RSI 60 changes nothing
40% win rate is fine if the winners are big enough, trend systems run at 35% all the time. issue with FLR is the ranges are so tight the winners never pay for the losers
exactly, tight ranges kill trend systems. only way FLR works here is the DCA leg they mentioned, and even that needs the 50d to curl up first
Both price targets show 0.00 (-100%). That is clearly a data bug in the template. Hard to trust a deployment plan with a 25% position size when the targets print as zero.
good catch on the 0.00 targets, clearly the template ate the numbers. doesnt kill the HOLD logic but publishing a deployment plan with broken outputs is sloppy
the 0.00 targets bug is funny but the backtest losing 31% while BTC buy and hold lost 11% is the number that should scare people off the system entirely
-31% on a trend following backtest while BTC did -11% buy and hold over the same year is brutal. FLR just doesnt trend, it chops
@wicketslip guy has a point tho, the vol ratio 1.17 and OBV accumulation are the only bullish legs holding this call up. lose those and its a sell
the vol ratio sitting at 1.17 with price this flat is odd. someone is accumulating quietly while everyone argues about the 200d
vol ratio 1.17 on a flat tape is the one bullish datapoint in the whole report tbh. everything else is decoration
or its FAssets market makers quietly loading before the XRP bridging goes live. quiet accumulation before an announcement is the oldest tell there is
81.7% drawdown from the high and the verdict is HOLD because RSI is 60? The 50d is doing all the work here, 200d still way overhead
200d way overhead on an 81.7% drawdown is just math at this point tomasz, the interesting bit is what flips this from HOLD to BUY for them. probably needs the 50d to actually cross first
price at 0.01 vs a 52w high of 0.04 and the verdict is HOLD with a 25% position size. thats basically paying attention without conviction lol
holding at 25% size is free optionality on the FAssets flows. you lose nothing if it bleeds to 0.008 and you look smart if XRP bridging actually ramps
25% size on a HOLD is just their way of saying they want credit if the FPI volume thesis works and no blame if FLR keeps bleeding toward 0.008
0.008 is the 2023 floor and it held twice. hold with 25% size is fine, full size here is the actual gamble
25% size on a hold is just risk management. 0.008 held twice, no reason to go full size before the 50d curls up
nobody mentioning the FAssets angle. XRP and DOGE bridged through Flare is the only demand source that actually moves FLR burns, the chart stuff is secondary imo
FAssets beta has been weeks away since 2024. when bridged XRP volume actually shows in the burn numbers i will care, until then HOLD is generous
FAssets has been the promised land since the whitepaper. if XRP bridging volume actually shows up onchain that flips HOLD to BUY on its own, chart stuff is noise until then
flr is 81% down and still printing higher lows on the weekly since june. the report reads boring because the setup is boring, accumulate and forget
81.7% drawdown and im still not averaging in until the 50d actually curls. 0.008 held twice sure, but so did every floor before it broke. DCA discipline is just slow rekt when the range keeps drifting down
